I lost my beloved Ruffie a few weeks ago. He was declining fast so I had to make the tough call to give him the final act of love. As soon as I got to the parking lot, he took his last breaths right in my arms. I brought him in immediately and they confirmed that he was gone. I have only dealt with Dr. Berg at this vet but since he was not available that day, I was seen by Dr. James White. Although this was truly one the most devastating and heartbreaking experience I have gone through losing my 15 year old dog, Dr. James White was extremely compassionate, patient, and understanding. Earlier this week, I received a card in the mail from Citrus with very sympathetic and kind words to remember Ruffie and wishing me well. To all the staff and doctors at Citrus, thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will surely be bringing my others pets here from now on.

They like to over book making you wait way after your appointment time. Then ask if you’re ok with them just taking your dog in the room without you to be examined. Stop over booking just for money and take care of your appointment on time. This use to be a great place and been going for years but not after today.

Long, long time Dr. Berg association... multiple generations of dogs as well as other "critters."
Very personable, professional, and thorough. Handled my 20 month old, slightly skiddish Shepherd/Border Collie mix's first-time visit with compassion and kindness.
This was a wellness visit, and he checked out everything.
Dr. Berg only attends patients here one day per week, but you can fund him the other days in a Santa Monica office, as well.
The staff here was pleasant and very helpful, both in office and on the phone.
A well maintained facility that makes you feel comfortable bringing your "fur baby" into...

I have all 7 cats and 2 dogs see both Dr Whites (husband & wife team) and they are so genuine and treats all of the pets with such concern and care. They don't jump to the most expensive treatment to make money. If they feel treating conservatively may help, they will recommend so. That's why they are such a busy practice. vets like the Whites are very rare to come by. I will never see anyone else for all my many pets needs. The staff is super nice and helpful. Just can't say enough about Andi in the front... she is super sweet and helpful every time any of my pets have issues. I just love this place!

This place is amazing! They whole staff is outstanding and caring. The Dr doesn't try to get you to get stuff done that you don't need just for money! He genuinely cares about animals and explain everything in a way you'll understand. The vibe as soon as you walk in is so comfortable. And every time I've been there , when another customer comes in there pet has yet to be scared. I've seen owners get pulled in by there pup! That ,to me at least, says so much alone. Also they are up to date on the best and newer medical advancement. I have a cat who has arthritis and he disgust with me this new shot that's out now, well let me tell you, it's a opioid free , miracle medicine! She had no side affects and at 12yrs old she became a kitten again. She was more active and happier than she was at 4yrs old! I am speechless and it's all thanks to them! He just off that aura that just makes you feel like it's going to be ok. The couple whose practice this is , has there bio on the website and I think that's nice to know a little about them. Heck he's a cow expert too! That's awesome ?
I drive 30 miles from my house just to take my cat to them there that good and I'll never go anywhere else. It's rare to fine somewhere that takes there time with care AND amazing prices. Especially for it being in a nice area. Thank you to the whole staff for just being genuinely amazing people! Your hard work and big hearts don't go unnoticed, and your line of work isn't easy ! Thank you all! ?

New vet for my babies and for me. My vet recently retired and closed his practice. I was devastated as I have 2 special needs dogs. So far so good though. I have been twice and I have positive feelings on my 2 visits to date. Hoping for the best. They are more expensive. So far that is the only down side.

I highly recommend Citrus Vet Clinic. The staff and tech's are very caring and friendly. Dr. Elizabeth Mock and her assistant Caroline were outstanding with the attention they provided to the sick community kittens I took in. Five stars plus for Citrus Vet Clinic !
