This was my first experience losing a family member, and I had no idea what to do or what to expect. But Sarah, who came to help, was such a blessing. Her compassion, love, and care made a world of difference and truly eased this difficult situation. Her bedside manner and empathy helped me through it mentally and emotionally. Thank you so much Sarah for everything you did & continue to do . Archie was in the best care and felt no fear whatsoever in his final moments, which was priceless to us. Hearts & Halos is exceptional at what they do, and I would highly recommend them to anyone facing the heartbreaking decision of saying goodbye to a beloved family member. They are truly amazing!?

I have 2 remaining pets and, although I can’t imagine losing them, I know they won’t live forever. When that unfortunate day comes, I will definitely be calling Hearts and Halos again. From the kind Ms. Hazel on the phone, to the gentle and EXTREMELY compassionate Dr. Susan, to the email contact Autumn, and the aftercare contact, Megan, they all showed us so much courtesy and consideration and especially for our sweet cat, Lily. They kept in contact with us and always responded throughout the entire process. Dr. Susan walked us through the difficult final moments, was so loving & gentle, and she carried Lily’s body out in a beautiful little “casket” - a basket with a comfy little mattress and satin blanket. (Also I was never told about a time limit. She was here for at least 45 minutes or more.) When Dr. Susan drove away with her driver, she carried Lily’s basket in her lap. Hearts & Halos completely understands how hard this is for everybody. They gave us space to grieve and offered grace throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I’m grateful that my vet recommended them.

Today, we had to put our precious Bubbles to rest. She was given a peaceful and loving farewell. It was wonderful to have such caring individuals to come and perform this type of work. Our Bubbles had a beautiful departure in crossing the rainbow bridge…I highly recommend Hearts and Halos!

I know you're reading these reviews, and this is the last place you want to be when it comes to your sweet baby, but you are in trusted, caring, compassionate hands with the Hearts & Halos team. I had to make the difficult decision to send my sweet darling, Max to heaven, and after multiple calls to various companies in the city - I found Hearts & Halos. The receptionist was kind, answered all of my questions, and prioritized my comfort, and the comfort of Max as well.

The team communicated well, and sent an email confirmation, as well as calling me 30 minutes before they arrived discussing all of my concerns and requests when it came to the procedure, and my choices for aftercare.

Denise and Mark arrived, and I immediately knew my dog was in safe, loving, trusted care as they entered my home. Before the procedure, they assessed Max, and ensured me I was making the right choice. Denise shared her history as a vet, and love of animals - and I knew she cared for Max by the way she treated him. Denise explained every part of the procedure, and Mark was kind to Max and distracted him as I filled out paperwork. Denise even had a bag of chocolate for Max to enjoy as one last treat as he was being sedated.

Max passed peacefully, and sweetly, and I had comfort knowing what was happening at every step at the end of his life. Mark handled my baby with care as they left my home, and Denise was so kind to ask me questions about Max's life and what he enjoyed most.

No pet owner wants to find themselves in this situation, it's our worst fear, but take comfort knowing you are hiring the best and most compassionate team to carry you through an incredibly difficult situation.

Our beloved Colonel was euthanized at an emergency vet that contracted Hearts and Halos for aquamation services. All communication was pleasant, respectful, and kind. We received his ashes today and opted for the curled cat urn, it is beautiful and we are very pleased with it. The pawprints are great and truly are his, I can tell! Also, his brother seems to be at peace now that Colonel is home. Thank you everyone at Hearts and Halos for your compassion and service. You made a difficult time slightly better.

Yesterday June 15th, 2024 marked exactly a month since needing their services for our dog Gretchen. This company leads with pure compassion & professionalism. They helped us give Gretchen the last grand gesture of love in the comfort of our own home. My family & I are very grateful for them. They took care of everything including her after life arrangements. Now we simply wait for her ashes to be returned to us. Thank you again for helping us.

I cannot recommend Hearts and Halos enough. It’s always a painfully difficult experience to say goodbye to our pets, but I felt so supported throughout the entire process. From the minute I reached out via email they were incredibly responsive and timely, responding within minutes. We were able to schedule a euthanasia for our cat Armani the next day. Dr Amy and her husband were so caring and gentle. They talked me through each step, ensuring I knew what to expect. It was a very peaceful process and in a way was very healing for me. Our dog and cat got to say goodbye to Armani and I felt so fortunate that Armani was able to pass on at home. I know it’s not always an option to do an at home euthanasia, but would highly recommend Hearts and Halos in your time of need. I am truly grateful for the caring and compassionate experience they provided my family. Thank you!
