Since moving to California 3 years ago we have been bringing our 2 rabbits to Serrano. They have been wonderful every time.
Rabbits often require immediate emergency care and each vet we’ve seen at Serrano has been compassionate, knowledgeable, and had the goal to get our bunnies back home as soon as possible where they feel most safe and comfortable.

I just want to thank Dr. Weldy and especially Dr. Krause for helping my bunny with a stomach blockage a few weeks ago. They were so helpful, compassionate and patient with the situation from dealing with my bunny to me… as I am a nervous wreck when it comes to my bunny. They did all they could to assure me that my bunny would be okay, answered all my questions and even had the front desk staff call me to check up on Poe every other day when I got to bring him back home. I appreciate all of you and can’t thank you guys enough! Dr. Krause is truly the best !

I have a bearded dragon I care deeply about and Dr Wesley did an amazing job, and his front desk team is nothing short of amazing! Not only are they knowledgeable but very kind and friendly! I highly recommend taking your loved pets to here! They will be cared for!

Brought in a wild bird we rescued. We originally took it to a wildlife refuge in Huntington Beach, but they said it needed to be put down cause it had a broken foot. Serrano identified the bird and helped us get the special diet she needed and taught us how to care for it. She is thriving and tame with the food and care we learned from the Serrano doctors. Caution tho. They are serious about what is the best for the bird and will tell you bluntly and straight up what you are getting into. We did need to convince the vet we were seriously all in and fully committed to caring for the wild bird. Only then did they jump in and do everything to help us.

Our sweet bunny passed away and Serrano has taken care of us every step of the way. Even though our bunny had only been there once for a nail trim, they have treated us like family. We took her body in and they were so kind and patient while we made our decision for her cremation. They offered a paw print ornament too for our children. It has made a difficult process bearable and we have felt so well treated.

I recommend Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital over any vet I’ve ever been to. I’ve been a dog owner my whole life, finding a vet was always as easy as finding a grocery store (meaning there are so many in a square mile or so) When we had an emergency situation with our hamster “Noodle”, it wasn’t so easy finding a vet to care enough to even just come out from behind their doors and just visually look or offer some sort of recommendation. After rushing her around and being told “sorry” so many times, I finally found Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital. Dr. Beaudet took Noodle right away, assessed the situation and saved her life. I’m so grateful that they were so caring and compassionate.

Very rude old woman answered the phone 09/10/24 at 4PM. VERY rude. I just called to ask if they were accepting new patients and she had a horrible attitude. Entire voice and interation was off, she said in a rude tone "well is it new, a puppy or WHAT." either she needs to get taken off answering phone duty or she needs to be fired bc i am no way coming here because of her attitude. i would not trust my pet with people who cant even have decency and respect when answering the phone. horrible and DISGUSTING.
