Dr. Tamura and Dr. Torres are wonderful! I drive all the way from Pasadena because I love the level of care and kindness they show my pet rats. I never feel like I’m being “sold” unnecessary tests and procedures. I’ll be coming out their way for many years to come!

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I felt secure allowing them to handle and examine my ball python. One of the male technicians was very informative on reptiles and helped answer all my questions. The doctor is very knowledgeable in exotics and it is a relief that this location is close to my home. I enjoyed my visit here.

This is where our cat Oscar gets his fluid treatment twice a week. But Dr. Tamura has been Oscar's vet from the start. Oscar is very comfortable here and we like how he is treated by everyone. We're always surprised when the ladies at this clinic will say Oscar is behaved and a nice boy?, because he's kind of a spoiled bully at home. But hey, animals have sense of knowing good people, and they're here at Capri Plaza Pet Clinic.
We recommend this place to our friends who are looking for a good pet clinic

Best VET ever! They even see exotic animals. The front desk is helpful, friendly, warm, caring and accommodating. Yes, that many verbs to describe their wonderful office. Very efficient when using insurance and flexible schedule. We've been with them through two turtles and two dogs. One dog which we have now is still their patient. Doctor is very knowledgeable, patient with new pet owners and kind overall. I like her style and always felt comfortable with all her diagnosis; she's always honest. Just go. You'll love them!

I brought two budgies that weren't feeling well, they are all about money and how much money they can suck from you. The stressed my most sick bird out to the point she had a seizure in my car mins after we left the clinic. I went back they took the bird from me to confirm she passes, no S* she passed. I wanted the lease invasive treatment for her which would be antibiotics to treat what my main suspicion was. They kept pushing the test. They were nice enough to refund the antibiotics for the dead bird. But wanted me to spend more money to doing the necropsy, I was 99% sure I knew what was wrong with my bird from the first place. Do not take your bird here! They will drain your bank account just to kill your pet. As other people as posted in the reviews this seems to be a theme with them, find yourself a trust passionate avian vet.

I can't remember the name of the first doctor my guinea pig and I saw, but he was really rough holding my guinea pig and my poor little guy was traumatized after being held by him. The other doctors who handled my guinea pigs did a great job. For the most part I really like this veterinarian place.
