We are definitely satisfied with the service at this animal clinic. Dr. Kim is the vet for my Rottweiler (Roxie) and cat(Dodge) , and I couldn’t feel more comfortable or trust her more. She is absolutely amazing—so friendly and gentle with my pets.

The front desk staff are always welcoming, kind, and efficient. They consistently follow up after our visits, send invoices promptly, and do their best to accommodate us, even on short notice.

The nurses and assistants are equally wonderful—always helpful, kind, and gentle with my pets. Overall, we are very happy to bring our pets here and highly recommend this clinic to others.

This clinic has been the best! My bf and I got our first fur baby a little over a year ago and he has been seen by this team since he was 2 months old! Everyone is friendly and they make sure the owner feels as comfortable as possible. The texting option they have is so convenient and the pet desk app is too! Sadly we had to change vet providers due to moving but we loved having our corgi being under the care of this team. Thank you all for making our first year as pet parents not so scary! We highly recommend this clinic!

If I could give 100 stars I would!
Lake Forest Animal Clinic will be my go to clinic for my pets health care needs from now on. From the moment I entered the clinic I felt relaxation. I was confident that I had made the right decision and I would be in good, caring, well educated hands.
I brought my 6 year old male Maltese to visit Dr Trope as an alternative to seeing a Dermatologist.
My Maltese all but destroyed his paws from his Anxiety/OCD, unrelenting paw licking. His previous health care clinic, who are also wonderful, had been treating him for this particular issue for upwards of 6 months now and treatment was going great but unfortunately my pup kept doing a Houdini escaping his e collar, shoes, socks, pajamas, etc. and re-infecting himself over and over again, exacerbating the issue so they felt they had pretty much done all that they could do at this point regarding treatment for this issue. They referred me to see a dermatologist.
Since I was not able to go that route financially and before I through in the towel, I made a last ditch effort to seek an affordable route for my baby.
I contacted Lake Forest Animal Clinic. The doctor did a thorough examination on my little one and said on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst, he was an 11. It was that bad even though I did everything humanly possible to stop this from happening. I was at my wits end.
Dr Trope blessed us with his spot on educated guess recognizing my pups weak immune system immediately. It was a dire situation. Initially, Dr Trope told me ideally my pup should see a dermatologist but I told him it was out of the question for us financially.
Taking that into consideration Dr Trope prescribed the necessary medication and a treatment plan. I followed his instructions and things are around for the better.
After the examination and consultation, Dr Tropes assistant/nurse handed me back my little one swaddled in a warm cozy blanket. How precious was that! They showed love and concern for this little guy and I much appreciated that.
We returned 10 days later for his check up and Dr checked him and happily told me he looked 98 percent better. That was huge! That's what I call miraculous. I'm very grateful for finding this clinic, Dr Trope and his lovely staff. Thank ya'll for giving me more time with my little guy.
And thank you for being affordable.

Update: My dog is thriving and is as healthy as he has ever been since being treated by Lake Forest Animal Hospitals' Dr Trope. and this means the world to me.

Our dog was digging at his ear. It was Labor Day weekend. We felt he needed to see a vet and our regular vet was closed. We are so grateful to Lake Forest Animal Clinic for getting us in on a Saturday. We were greeted by Kim who was cheerful and friendly. She was thorough in making sure we had our dog up to date with vaccines. Steven the tech was very kind and gentle holding our dog. He did a nice job explaining the procedure and the cost of treatment. Dr. Kim was friendly and explained everything in detail to us. She was kind and gentle while examining our dog. We couldn’t ask for better care. Thank you Dr Kim, Steven and Kim for taking care of us. We are very grateful.

I first came to Lake Forest Animal Clinic 6 years ago when I got my first dog. And thank god I did! Have never met a more compassionate group of people who truly care about you and your animal. Each and every time I go in I am truly blown away by the staff; especially the vet tech Steven. I drive from 3 towns over just to see them! Highly highly recommend.

I appreciate all the doctors and staff at Lake forest Animal Clinic. Sometimes I go there so upset I can't remember my own name. Other times I'm so happy that my baby Angel is in recovery or back to her old self driving me nuts with wanting my attention. I love her no matter what stage she is in. When I have, not so good days and I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, the face that I see the most watching me for that right moment to jump in calm me or pick up where others left off is sweet Kim. I've known Kim for many years, goes far back to a different clinic where Kim and I were much younger and I relied on her for her honest personality putting out her best efforts in getting a customer like myself to get a smile back on my face no matter how upset I am. Kim, keep up the good work, you're one in a million. I'll always keep asking, "Is Kim still here?"

Lake Forest Animal Clinic is great I bring both my cats here, been coming for years! All the doctors are amazing. The staff are always really nice, professional and extremely helpful(especially Julie and Jordan). Highly recommend bringing your pets here!
