As a dedicated pet parent, I have always ensured that my cats receive their annual vaccinations and health check-ups without fail. After moving to a new neighborhood, I trusted this hospital for the first time, but this visit turned out to be a horrible experience for both me and my cat. It became clear that this hospital values money far more than the health and happiness of the animals in their care.

Before the vaccination, I clearly informed the vet that my cat had a history of adverse reactions to vaccines and requested that the same vaccine that previously caused no issues be used. However, the vet completely disregarded this and recommended the 3-year vaccine instead, without any explanation as to why this option was necessary or how the stronger dosage could increase the risk of side effects.

What was even more shocking was that the hospital presented me with three separate bills for the treatment, asking me to choose one. Their attitude felt like they were pushing unnecessary treatments and prioritizing financial gain over the well-being of my cat. To make matters worse, after seeing that I had high-tier pet insurance, the hospital seemed to exploit this by offering these options, further reinforcing my impression of overcharging. It left me distrustful and deeply disappointed in their practices.

That night, the nightmare began.
After the vaccination, my cat suddenly suffered from a severe allergic reaction—her nose and face became swollen, and she appeared to be in significant distress. Panicked, I called the hospital’s affiliated emergency clinic, only to be met with a lack of accountability. Instead of offering immediate support, they emphasized that simply using the emergency clinic would result in additional costs.

The hospital had never explained the possibility of side effects, yet when my cat suffered from them, they shifted all responsibility to the emergency clinic and the pet owner, demanding payment for every step of the process. While I had pet insurance that could cover the costs, I was so disgusted by their attitude that I decided to take my cat to another hospital instead.

This hospital is truly terrible.
It became painfully obvious that this hospital prioritizes profit over the health and happiness of animals. They treated my cat as if she were a test subject, failing to provide any prior guidance on possible side effects and then leaving all responsibility with me when complications arose.

While the hospital may have gained “valuable experience” by observing the side effects my cat experienced, we had to endure a terrible night filled with fear and stress, and my cat suffered through extreme discomfort and pain.

I strongly advise fellow pet owners to reconsider before trusting this hospital. This is a hospital that cares more about money than animals. If you choose this hospital, you may end up regretting it as I did.

Dr. Jason and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. Kind, friendly, and nurturing to my 9wk old Goldendoodle puppy. They answered all my questions thoroughly, and showed such tender care during treatment. Plus, gave my puppers so much love & pets!

Thank you for helping our family through the toughest decision. Even though we visited frequently the last two weeks and all the tests came back not ideal…or getting worse…I was never once suggested anything but positive options. I am so glad we found your services and your staff were wonderful and attentive. Ty for kissing Jojo goodbye for us!

As for the logistics, prices were fair and I did not feel pressured to do anything extra. The membership was also a great option and made sense for my situation. I am grateful to have found this Vet and felt that Jojo was in good hands till the very end.

To say I’m particular with vets in the almost 16 years I have had my dog is an understatement. After moving to Irvine finding a great vet was my first priority. And for small things to the potential more serious stuff everyone from the front to the back and both the vets are truly amazing. For the care they provide, the attention they give not only my dog but myself who can be too much for some vets with questions, way they clear waiting room for my dog aggressive old man, and just the positive attitude of everyone that works there gives me the utmost confidence not only to keep bringing my dog in his twilight years here, but also to HIGHLY recommend this office. They also have a 24/7 office close by that also has seen my dog for a late night emergency and they also were amazing. Prices might not be lowest but the service and care you get more than warrant it compared to so many other vets out there and their membership worth it especially if your pet older. And fact they are open 7 days a week 7am-6pm is so convenient. Cant say enough good things about this vets office.

I've never written a review for a vet, but I felt like this place deserves it. My Bourke Parrot Rambo was pretty sick the last 48hrs and looked pretty bad. I've had horrible experiences in the past trying to take my feathered friends somewhere I trust (took my parakeet to a local vet 2 weeks ago and he was dead less than 24hrs later)..so when I called last night to IVV I was really apprehensive.

Dr. Bobula and the staff did an amazing job taking care of Rambo and getting him back to health! They were upfront about everything, talked about different diagnosis and care options, and actually gave him the time and care he deserved.

I feel that exotic pets get a bad rap at vets as not being as important as cats and dogs, but at IVV it really felt like they cared for all the animals the same and gave attention to care for every patient.

I drove over 30miles to come to this place for an emergency visit and Im glad I did. I would highly recommend them for anyone concerned for their birds.

And no, price was not horrible considering the treatment. It's $185 baseline for all exotic exams, and then whatever else they decide to do..but honestly it was worth every penny to save this little guy. Less than 24hrs later in the first picture here and he looks like his old self with his meds. Thank you guys!!

For some insight to this review Maverick had ruptured 3 disks in his back in March of 2022 in which he was unable to use his back legs and had to undergo surgery. After a few months of rest, recovery, and assistance on my end he was able to regain use of his back legs with some limitations and seemingly no pain. During that time period the neurologist that performed the surgery did not recommend any physical therapy although a shake in his back right leg and apparent resting of weight primarily on his front legs. Fast forward about 1.5 years and Maverick was in very apparent pain and barely able to move one of his back legs again - leveraging only his upper body for movement. This is when we started seeing Dr. Nauss.

My experience with Dr. Nauss has been absolutely amazing. He is extremely thorough in his assessments, treatments, and next step plans. Even after Maverick's first treatment, you could see a night and day difference in his pain level and ability to move around. After multiple treatments you could physically feel the difference and relief in tightness around his back and neck (knots removed and body less tense). In addition, you could see the positive change in his personality. Back to being "crazy" and trying to sprint everywhere, play with toys, jump up and down on people, couches, etc. (although we are trying to limit it as much as possible). I can't thank Dr. Nauss and his team enough for the help. Maverick went from a ton of pain, barely walking, and our family stressing about another surgery or potential wheelchair scenario to being back to his old self.

Just picked up my baby from his first dental procedure and I millet say I had full faith leaving him with this team. Dr Nauss took his time at the pre op visit to answer all my questions and concerns and then again today before the provide this morning. He called after the cleaning was done and while my boy was still under anesthesia to get my consent to have a small mass removed which I has inquired about prior. The clinic texts you when the procedure starts and when it’s completed.. this clinic is amazing and they are full of compassion for the animals this treat and their owners just the same.

Thank you all for being compassionate and amazing at what you do, I wouldn’t take Dublin anywhere else!
