This place is amazing. After my third kid with a Doctor who treated me like a number I was lucky to find this place for my fourth prenatal care. All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The midwives were tremendously sympathetic and considerate.
I love this place. They shared a lot of resources. I fell in love with the parenting class. I loved my midwife who helped me deliver she was amazing. Overall my experience was more than great.

Okay so the staff has been pretty much been shook up since the director changed, so a lot of the issues you read about have been resolved. Anyways, I had my first child with the midwives this year (2019). They were awesome. I went in after the first doctor I saw ultrasounded at 5 weeks and wanted to ultrasound every 2-3 days because they didn't see a baby / heart beat. I was really upset and got in with counseling and the midwives quickly. They reassured me that things would be alright and gave me the signs to watch for if I was going to miscarry and went to call. I felt really cared for. I had hypertension before the pregnancy so they had an OB consult on my case and I ended up on medication and doing NSTs weekly to make it to where I wanted to make it without complications (39w). I was almost induced earlier than 39w but instead they took me of work and adjusted the medication so I could make it. My birth was really awesome and I was so happy to have Jackie deliver my baby girl! For the girls who had PROM (early water breaking), if you really think something is wrong keep speaking up. Unfortunately, they don't take patients that are known to be high risk so I don't think I will be able to come back for my next child. I would in a heartbeat tho. I felt really cared for during the whole pregnancy and they listened to any concern I had.

I delieved my first baby with Healthy Beginnings. I had no idea what to expect or really what midwives were. I will say, I loved that my appointments were always quick. I think the longest I had ever waited was like 15 minutes. However, it didn't mean they rushed you while you were in the room. I really enjoyed Matt and Gennese (I know the spelling is way off.. I am sorry) I feel like my appointments with them were like talking to a really smart friend. They are so caring and make you feel like you are their top concern. Kim delieved my baby via C-section and it was a great experience besides my 3 day induction. Just overall a wonderful experience. Everyone was wonderful. Oh, and Jasmine is so awesome at what she does.

I do not recommend them. I went into Labor and delivery at 24 weeks pregnant thinking my water broke. I was having some cramps as well. They test the fluid and said I probably peed my pants. To rub my belly when I got cramps and if they went away I was fine. They didn't give me an ultra sound or nothing. Two weeks later I go in for more cramping. This time it was bad. come to find out I had no cervix left, baby was breach, and no fluids at all! I was rushed into an emergency C-section. My daughter has been in nicu for a month now. And every time I saw a midwife after they kept asking me how this happened and make me feel like its my fault. I was told my uterus is too weak now to carry full term ever again. So basically I could have lost my daughter, and now I cant carry any more babies full term because they had to do a crash C-section and cut up and down on my uterus rather then side to side. All because one midwife said I peed my pants. So, no. I would not go here at all. I refuse to go back to them for my check up. My daughter has no major medical conditions but she has been going up and down hill sense the day she was born. fighting infections, not handling her eating, and having desats. I'm thankful and blessed that my daughter is here and fighting so strong but I don't want another family to go through this. so please, find a different doctor.

I trusted this place to care for my unborn child and they failed!
At my 17 week appointment I didnt bring my diabetic sheet or monitor because i didnt have enough time to go allllll the way back home and get it, so i figured it would be smart to go then to reschedule last minute because i didnt have a sheet.

They had a very big attitude about it.
They told me they couldnt see me because i didnt bring the sheets...but i insisted that i needed to be seen because of the way i was feeling!!
I made a complaint to midwife, Carmen, about the discomfort i had been feeling...i told her i had 2 sharp pains in my groin area followed by alot of discharge, two hours prior to my appointment.
I asked her if she could check to see if it was amniotic fluid.
she said.., "oh thats normal, I mean your pregnant! Its probably just discharge!".
Very rudely!
Well...common sence at 17 weeks I shouldn't have been feeling contractions followed by very watery* clear amniotic fluid looking discharge.

I asked her if she was sure if it was normal.
She got real fiesty saying without the diabetic sheets we cant tell you if something is normal or not. ?
Seems like they are more interested in diabetic sheets then the actual health of the baby and whats really going on with your body!
Oh....and by the way I AM NOT* DIABETIC*!
So a sheet was more important then her being able to tell me if my cervix was dilating and my water was leaking at that momemt. ?

#1
Diabetic sheets have nothing to do with checking me fully to be sure me and my unborn child is OK as YOUR PATIENTs! Nor does it mean be rude to your patient! And keep sending them away for weeks at a time.
I wouldve respected her more if she even gave me a referral to an actual medical doctor to check what the problem was...seeing as how i did tell her what i was feeling.

4 days after my appointment with them i got 1 sharp pain followed by more amniotic fluid looking discharge, so i decided to go to the ER.
After being EXAMINED* by a medical professional, We have found out that sugar WAS NOT MY PROBLEM TO BEGIN WITH!
They diagnosed me with cervical issues not caused by any form of diabetes.
If it was caught soon enough at my appointment with them on Monday, with Carmen, my cervix couldve been stitched closed (by a medical professional) and the weight of the baby wouldnt have cause my cervix to open prematurely.
But, she (Carmen) did no pelvic exam..didnt check my cervix, did not check to see if the watery discharge i complained about on monday was amniotic fluid.
They did nothing!
Sent me home because of a diabetic sheet that clearly was more valuble to them then my babies life!
I gave birth to my baby girl a few days after my appointment with them and my baby did not make it.

The entire experience was a night mare.
I do not recommend them or any medical professionals they work with at all!!!!
Except Dr. Brar.
He is an excellent doctor!
I wish he was an Obgyn because I would choose him to be my doctor.

I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant, with my 4th child. I know what I want and what I do not like. The whole clinic is exactly what I expect. Their MAs are always sweet and caring. I've met 4 of their Midwives, all of them always act like they have time to answer my questions, make me feel important and most importantly make me feel like my unborn baby is their priority. Ever their on site dietitian was really nice and informative.

Very unprofessional. I was a gestational diabetic &they completely cut off services for me at 34 weeks pregnant! Just because I missed a meeting about diabetes. I was really late in my pregnancy so no other doctor would accept me. I had to complain to my insurance &they handled it immediately. I was transferred &accepted to loma Linda. I filed a complaint against this company. &would never return again because they didn't show any compassion towards me &my child, I was just cut off. I was told Laurie Roberts was the one to blame for that ridiculous rule to have patients dismissed like that. She needs to reevaluate herself. Zero stars!

Very disappointed! I had my 3rd child with them and they were absolutely wonderful and I decided to go back to them hoping to get the same experience and...well they have become incredibly rude, non empathetic, and ghetto I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They definitely don't care about you or your child considering the fact that they do the bare minimum prenatal care. Be careful.
