Dr. Scott Henderson was great. So were the office staff. He took time to call me personally today about my dog’s lab results. He could have just deflected that task to his staff. I’ll be back.

I had a very nice visit for an urgent care situation with my cat. They took great care of her and they were able to get her in the same day and do a small surgery. It was a pleasant surprise to have a follow up call the day after to check up on my pet.

Zero stars, on May 15th I took my 14 year old who was 11 pounds to be euthanized because she was in pain. Upon arrival everything seemed fine the woman at the front desk was so nice as well as the vet but the clinicians are a whole other story. It was complete malpractice. I sat in a waiting room for over 40 minutes hearing my dog scream in pain as i heard them laugh at her pain and say "im trying". I asked what was going on and if I could please help them. They continued to poke my dog over and over and over again. The receptionist had to call the head manager from his house because it was such a horrible experience and he had to come to help because Alyssa the clinician who was back there had no bedside manner. They denied me of using the restroom after paying them $500 and having me wait for about an hour at this point. They let me finally use the restroom and i saw why they denied me. My dog was being mussled and held down. I could only cry and tell my dog how sorry i was for failing her on that day by bringing her there. I asked why they would not consider sedation if they could not apply the catheter and the manager said "I'm so sorry there were so many balls dropped today and they were supposed to consider sedation after two pokes but did more" and when I finally got my dog back I asked why she had imprints around her snout from the mussle and I was told that was wrong your supposed to be able to put two fingers between the snout and mussel then I asked why does she have poop on her they replied so sorry she was in distress. It took over two hours for her to finally be at peace. They did an investigation and said the clinicians were on a month suspension because they did everything wrong and there were inappropriate comments that I had overheard and the others admitted to their boss I got a $150 refund but still had to pay $350 for the ashes. The money was never an issue I went there trying to peacefully put my pup down the right way and it will scar me for life. I loved that dog with all my heart and you tortured her til her end. This took a lot out of me to write this review and relive that terror but I wouldn't want anyone to go through what me and my pup did. These people are murders and have no compassion laughing at the last cries of my baby. Please do not take your fur baby here for the sake of them.

East Valley Pet Hospital is where I take my dogs, and that alone speaks volumes. I still prefer to give them shots myself. Mainly use a trained veterinarian to offer another opinion. No matter how knowledgeable you may get in any field in life, the practicing professional tends to be up-to-date with the current science, and not to be taken lightly. It’s when one thinks that they know it all and resist learning that they become stagnant. Always be excited to acquire new information to add to your knowledge…I love to be corrected by a professional. They tend to explain the connections behind the science in a concise manner and in a very short amount of time….

Best Vet around here. The staff is above awesome. The Doctors are really good and everyone there cares so much for your pet. And it seems they care for your budget when they can, while making sure your pet gets what they need. Really a great experience.

When your fur baby is sick and you’re beside yourself with worry, that’s when you need a kind, caring, and compassionate word.

This is exactly what I received from the staff at the East Valley Pet Hospital. They called the day after the visit to see how she was doing and even sent a card to my home expressing their condolences for my loss. I would recommend the East Valley Pet Hospital to anyone with a pet in need of medical care. The staff is wonderful.

Service has been the fastest and smoothest i have ever been to despite just walking in. My little Lolo is now feeling much much better. Reception desk staffs were amazing and Dr. Henderson were very thorough with his care. Answered all my questions and explained everything to me with concise and clear plan of care in the short and long term plan. Thanks for pet hospitals that really cares about pet family.
