Very disappointed. I’ve been a customer for years and had the worst experience just trying to get a copy of my dogs rabies records. Talked to different staff members over a 2 hour period and kept being told it would be sent immediately. The third call met with an accusatory employee who said she just got back from lunch and treated me very rudely. I had to drive from the groomers in Santa Maia to their office in Grover beach to get copies of ALL her records because I’m definitely finding a new provider. Their motto seems likes profits over patients, like they could care-less about well being. Not today monarch, not this guy.

As of September 2024 they are under new ownership with a new & experienced veterinarian who was friendly and knowledgeable. He got my pup back to health, and the prices were comparable to other vets I have used in the past. Safe to say, you can disregard previous reviews with low ratings.

Dr.Bell is amazing-super compassionate-thorough-experienced -and is very knowledgeable!!He has treated our rabbit and cats since 2018--our rabbit just recently had blood in his urine and staff got us in same day--Dr.Bell did a fast assessment-X-ray-ultrasound-dx the issue and planned surgery that evening! Peter had a huge bladder stone! So thankful for such great care -compassion-and skills!!we appreciate you Dr.Bell and staff!!!

Dr. Reyes was very attentive to my pup; was easy to talk to, ask questions, most important my dog was very calm as Dr examined him from head to toe, reassuring him w a gentle petting and voice. A big plus was the appt ended up being $20 less than quoted! Reception gals were very friendly and quick w paperwork.

Came in for vaccines. Spoke on phone previously about obtaining deceased beloved pet records..vet said they were archived and unavailable even though I was told I could get a copy.. ask receptionist- she hands me a copy.. the issue is that the Vet had ZERO empathy towards me when sharing about our beloved pet being euthanized at the ER vet a week ago. Nothing, not even the receptionist had a kind word. VERY cold hearted place. People own pets. People pay for their pets healthcare. I suggest you all find a way to value and empathize with the pet owners. Why you in this biz if unable to express love..?

I love their team! I'm from AZ, but my little pug mix developed an ear infection during our stay here. The veterinarian was so helpful and kind. I really appreciate being educated on what to do in the future to prevent ear infections/yeast infections for my dog. The staff there is incredibly kind and patient, they truly love working with animals! Thank you Oak Park Veterinary staff!

I went here to get a new dog checked out. There was only one other person waiting and I showed up on time for my appointment and still had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. The girl who works as the tech/receptionist made me feel like I was bothering her. Once I met the vet it was no different. She came in with hair all over her coat and . She barely spoke to me and she never smiled either.. I was very disappointed by the service here. I will not be returning over all a unwelcoming experience.

Staff and Doctor very caring and kind. Always got us in right away. Trust her with both our fur babies for over a year now. Very clean and our doggies love getting goodies when they get their check ups.
