I’m always appreciative of the employees at Highland. I’ve been coming here for years ever since Dr Pam Tuami saved my cat’s life by performing a creative surgery when other vets in Anchorage said they couldn’t. That was about 15 years ago and my cat is still with me. They’ve taken care of all my pets during this time. My main vet now is Dr. Pam’s daughter, Dr. Jen, but I’ve seen other vets there also and always feel secure in the level of competency shown. From the front counter to the techs to the veterinarians, I’ve always been treated with professionalism, courtesy, and a sense of caring. I totally recommend this group for anyone looking for a veterinarian group that understands your pets are family.

Dr. Sawyer was really great to work with. Breathe of fresh air. This was our first couple of visits with her, as she’s new to Highland Animal Clinic. She was very thorough, worked well with our dog, and his humans. Very pleasant to be around. Honest with possible diagnosis. Fit us in an unexpected timely manner. Grateful that she was able to take a look at our guy so quickly. Monica is wonderful, we’ve always appreciated her care for our pups. The front desk staff was also very kind. Highly recommend!

Each pet that I have brought to Highland has been taken care of like it was one of their own pets. Even in our darkest hours of need here, our babies are treated with respect. Dr Jen and Dr Sawyer are both excellent veterinarians. As long as I own a pet and live in Alaska, this will be our vet.

I honestly cannot say anything about their vets. I have heard only good things. My complaint is about simply getting a new patient visit. I started the process well over a week ago. I had to fill out new membership forms on an app. They have sent me links to other forms that evidently don't make it to them and they seem to keep asking me to fill them out again. We finally decided on another vet simply due to how difficult it is to simply get an appointment.All we had to do was call another vet.

My mom and I have brought all of our pets to Highland for many, many years. I love that it is a family run business and there is continuity in care. Dr. Jen always takes time to genuinely listen to concerns and provide useful feedback. The vet techs are also so lovely and gentle with my pets. The scheduling process is easy and not difficult to get an appointment in relatively short notice as an established client.

I take my three dogs to highland animal clinic. We have been through annual check ups, random health problems and even unexpected surgeries. The staff and Dr.’s care for my dogs and always follow up after appointments to confirm their health. They are transparent and consistent with pricing. When appointments are full they are usually able to add me to the cancellation list and get me in as soon as possible. Highly recommend Highland Animal Clinic.
