When we experienced a sudden medical issue, they got us in right away, which was a huge relief. The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and caring throughout the entire process. Veterinarian services for this facility are excellent. 5 out of 5 stars. The receptionist is very professional and the staff is educated on your pets needs. I have never had a negetive experience. Wait times can occasionally be lengthy but other than that veterinarian medical services are top notch!
I however do not recommend the groomer. Highly unprofessional man who told me if my dog bites him, 5 pound mini poodle he will report her to animal control. She showed zero signs of aggression he was just a hostile man!! She came back traumatized from him limping on her back leg and shaking. Shame on you Micheal!!

LETS GET INTO IT

1st off. My dog is leery of vet clinics and your may be also. We entered the facility and I was shocked at the professional environment I had entered. I thought I was at Providence Hospital but for dogs. Lol!

KATIE.....was extremely friendly and she took the necessary steps to create a relationship with my buddy Skipper. He has had a lip infection for quite awhile where his lips swell up immensely and they crust over and itch causing irritation and him to scratch. This causes bleeding and open sores to exist.

Also has been dealing with intense ear infections for a few years now and skin irritation.

My dog usually hides behind me when a vet pulls out the stethoscope but Katie was so gentle with him that he gave her the permission to approach. His was awesome. I was impressed.

I have a 2nd appointment scheduled in a week and a half with a different associate so I will see how it goes then or if I just got lucky with Katie helping us.

So, I saw Dr. Willis last year for wellness check on my Dog. Dr. Willis seemed and sounded like he knows what he is doing but that's questionable now. All Dr. Willis did was just feel her around the spleen area and said he doesn't feel like it's something I should worry about and she is ok and healthy. Now, this year, I get Dr. Michetti for a wellness check. She did a great job with her physical check and blood work because my dog hasn't gotten since the last visit (last year). Got an x-ray and an ultra sound for her spleen. Found out that my dog has low blood cells and plate cells, and also found out that my dog has some air pockets in spleen which might be a tumor. Long story short. If Dr. Willis did his job correctly. Maybe we could cought this tumor last year and started some type of treatment. I will not be going there anymore to the simple fact that I can't trust Dr. Willis!

I’ve been to 5 vets in the Anchorage-Palmer area over the past 5 weeks as my dogs have gotten progressively worse. I kept getting recommended for repetitive and superfluous tests with no answers or comfort for my babies. I would advocate as much as I could for them but it seemed they couldn’t be bothered to truly listen and take a look at the whole picture. Until I arrived to this facility, I was feeling defeated. The whole experience at PetStop was incredible. I was called in after a cancellation and then was in an office within 5min. Dr. Zimmerman sat on the floor with my dogs and listened carefully to all of my concerns. She excelled in her compassion for my dogs and interest in digging deeper so that the most relevant tests could be ordered. I’m so so thankful to Dr. Zimmerman and her very kind office staff!

After being a client for 20-some years, counting the time they were located off Tudor, I was not able to get care for my 2 kitties.
I loved the care and love they gave the 3 dogs we had owned over the years, especially the time with Dr. Scott. We had a hiatus of 5 years between our dogs and these 2 kitties. This put us in the "new" client statis. At this time, they are not taking "new" clients, just new patients.
I am sad that I need to find a new clinic for the kitties.

Very unprofessional person named Crystal answer the phone I called just to get pricing estimates she told me because I was not a client she could not give me that information. I told her I was just calling around trying to get an estimate on services. Then she gave me an estimate of 1000 to 1500 for a service. I know cost nowhere near that and then tells me that she doesn’t know she doesn’t make the estimates and I asked her why would you give me an estimate instead of letting me speak to someone who does the estimates.
