Dr. Wolf is a veterinarian that cares more for your four legged friend then any other vet I've come across, her love for the animals is on par with her capabilities for diagnosing and WANTING to treat / save your best four legged family member. If she isn't capable of saving him she can atleast infom you of your best options for your bestfriend.

Dr. Wolf performed emergency surgery on Callie, my 3-year-old cat. She was absolutely professional and direct about the risks and potential outcomes of surgery. She followed up the next day to ensure Callie was doing okay, and her staff offered daily input on her recovery care at home. Moreover, Dr. Wolf’s facility is amazing. The exam rooms are private, clean and well-lit. The operating theater is beautifully equipped, and the recovery area has spacious kennels (and a view of the ocean.) I am deeply impressed.

Dr Wolf and her entire staff are fantastic. My dog is incredibly nervous and tempermental. Those women all treated him patiently with such care, consideration and professionalism. They are wonderful and a great asset to have on the island. Very thankful!

I could not be more thrilled with my experience at Sitka Animal Hospital. My girl is very fearful of the vets office and Dr. Wolf took the time to come out into the lobby and just be with her and tried several treats until landing on one that she would take to put her at ease before the exam. This is going above and beyond--I was very very impressed with Dr. Wolf's commitment and manner. I came in for an airline pet health certificate and my girl had a very thorough exam. Most of these exams I have had with other vets in the past just seem to be going through the motions, but Dr Wolf had great suggestions and a great exam. The staff were fantastic and so friendly as well!

My dog starting peeing blood. Sitka Animal Hospital was willing to see me same day. Dr. Hunt explained the common causes and we agreed to try antibotics first. When that didn't work we methodically went through a step by step process to make a diagnosis. The whole time Dr. Hunt didn't pretend to have all the answers, but was willing to share his thought processes. He was mindful of the cost/benefit with an older dog and my not wanting to put him through unnecessary pain. We finally arrived at exploratory surgery as the best solution and Dr. Hunt ended up removing a diseased kidney. Fortunately the other seems to be fine. Even though he is an old dog, he has recovered nicely from the surgery. Dr. Hunt did a great job with the dog and never pretending to know more than he did and patiently answered all of my questions and made me part of the process. Best vet I have ever had in 20 years of dog ownership. Very caring!

Dr. Wolf diagnosed our german shepard Simba with cancer. She has been so awesome and supportive through this tough time for us. Her and the staff go above and beyond for their patients and their owners. Simba loves going for his visits he can't get in the office fast enough. They say a dogs judgement on humans will tell you what type a person someone is. Well Simba says Dr. Wolf and her crew are top off the line.

This veterinarian is the best vet ever. I strongly recommend them for your veterinarian needs. We had the very best experience with her and she has been such great help for us especially my husband. I cannot thank her enough for being so patient with us and helping us the way she did. I honestly am so very grateful ! Thank you so very much, you are absolutely the very best!
