I’m so Thankful to Dr. Blake because she is an AMAZING and CARING Oncologist Dr. for dogs. And all the staff at CASE Hospital ? made us feel loved and treated us kindly.
I took my family’s dog, Bella to Dr. Blake because I didn’t know what else to do! Bella’s was diagnosed with Mast Cell Tumor in her paw ? ? ? The other options I got for Bella were very disappointing But thanks to Dr. Blake Bella is still alive and doing well. BIG THANK YOU to Dr. Blake ♥️?

We unfortunately the day after Thanksgiving had an emergency with our 5 yr old male cat. He had a ureteral blockage, deadly issue. No previous signs from our cat until Thanksgiving when he started peeing blood and was lethargic. Took to regular vet and were told to get to emergency right away. So off we went to CASE. Treated with such compassion and they met us and immediately took him back and continued to work on him through the night. We were and are very impressed with the care of all the staff. Dr. Winslow and Dr. Yang were the first 2 doctors taking care of our baby. They are amazing, words don't do them justice as to how compassionate and efficient these two are. They are wonderful. Dr. Winslow always kept us updated as to his progress.
Throughout the whole week we were always kept updated and they saved our baby. Dr. Haghnazary also was in on our case, hes a little gruff but, took care of our baby. Dr. Rafia had the last part of the hospital stay including discharge. He too is great. Gave very detailed explanations about the plan and the discharge instructions. There was not one person there who wasn't helpful, friendly or compassionate as to what we were going through. We highly recommend if you need an emergency hospital or care for your fur babies, this is the place to be. Only draw back is that it's very very expensive. However, the care and doctors and all the staff are worth it. Would go back if every we need help again.

CASE does not have any regard for you or your pets.

My dog has a tumor, and his current medication hasn’t been effective in shrinking it. A previous hospital presented a second treatment option: weekly injections that would require me to bring my dog to the hospital every week. Since I don’t have a car, this would mean costly Uber trips both ways. Even if I had a car, the vandalism, theft, and steep parking prices in my area make owning one impractical. On top of that, my dog wouldn’t enjoy enduring weekly shots. With the holiday season approaching and my need to travel home, this treatment was simply not feasible.

Since my dog is spending winter with my family, I arranged for my mom to take him to CASE Hospital. Despite being away, I sacrificed valuable time from my classes—especially with exams looming—to be available for questions during the appointment. I provided CASE with a comprehensive update on my dog’s condition for the fourth time, as this is now the fourth vet hospital we’ve gone to in search of proper care.

To give context:

The first hospital dismissed my concerns about my dog’s bloody urine, claiming he was “fine.”
The second hospital referred us to a third, which finally diagnosed him with cancer.
Now, CASE is the fourth.
The sheer exhaustion of transferring documents, making phone calls, scheduling, and retelling my dog’s medical history repeatedly is overwhelming.

At the appointment, the CASE staff said:
“I just want to confirm that the [previous hospital] presented you with a second treatment, and you declined it, knowing that his current treatment isn’t stopping the tumor.”

I. Was. Floored.

This tone and wording were accusatory, as if I were deliberately neglecting my dog’s health or irresponsibly ignoring treatment options. This comment was not only offensive but demonstrated a complete lack of empathy.

What do you think I brought my dog here for?

From the start, I’ve been the one fighting for my dog’s health. I insisted on further examination when my dog showed bloody urine. I sought out a second, third, and now fourth hospital after being dismissed the first time. I overhauled his diet, and I’ve searched everywhere for discounted dog food, treats, supplements, and medication. Every single hospital visit (including CASE's) cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Despite all of this, CASE treated me like someone making uninformed or negligent decisions. It doesn't matter if they didn’t know my full situation—their audacity to ask such a question tells you all you need to know about them.

I cannot recommend CASE Hospital to anyone who values empathy and respect in their pet’s care. After all the effort I’ve put into ensuring my dog’s well-being, this is how I was treated.

I am sharing my experience with Dr. Blake and the oncology team, the emergency overnight staff, and the front desk staff. First, my dog was diagnosed with T-Cell lymphoma and referred to Dr. Blake. She has been GREAT! Both her and her staff are kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to be interested in the improvement of my dog. So far, her chemotherapy treatments are really helping my dog. I am grateful to them. Second, my dog had to stay overnight after her first chemotherapy session to be monitored and to receive fluids. They were very kind to me as I called to check on her three different times. The overnight vet then called me first thing in the morning to tell me how my dog was doing, which I really appreciated. Third, the front office staff at CASE is absolutely wonderful!!! They are so kind and helpful. They genuinely care about making you feel welcomed and valued as you are dealing with the issues with your pet. I have had a great experience with CASE!

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for CASE Animal Hospital the exceptional care and support they have provided to my baby Ginza during his battle with inflammatory bowel disease. Very grateful to Dr. Green’s unwavering dedication and expertise have made a significant impact on our Ginzabear.
From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with warmth and compassion. CASE Animal Hospital demonstrated an unparalleled level of professionalism and knowledge, offering thorough explanations and guidance throughout the current and future treatment process. Their commitment to understanding and addressing my dog's unique needs reassured me that he was in the best possible hands.
We decided to have endoscopy procedure to determine what is the cause of IDB (inflammatory bowel disease) we drop our dog off on Wednesday a day before procedure. We felt safe knowing that this facility was 24 hours so there is always staff on site. The staff was so nice to keep us updated and even took multiple pictures for us at different times of the night.
My dog is on the road to recovery, and I attribute much of his progress to the exceptional care he received. A sincere thank you for going above and beyond for our baby Ginza's well-being. I am truly grateful to the entire remarkable team at CASE Animal Hospital, and I will wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone seeking compassionate and exceptional veterinary care.

Our dog didn't have to die. He was put down because the owners of this hospital are greedy and charge 10x the price of normal vets. When asked why the answer was "because we're an emergency hospital," the owners of this hospital extort people in distress and force them to choose between financial ruin and the life of their companion. I don't know how the owners of the hospital can sleep at night.

Had to take our 5 month old puppy to the emergency vet in the middle of the night and I’m so thankful we ended up at CASE. We have been to a couple emergency vets in OC with our older dog and have had not the best experiences, but every employee at CASE was so compassionate and friendly despite it being 2 AM. We were seen right away and given a clear plan. Everyone was patient with my questions and I felt comfortable leaving my puppy with their team for the tests they needed to run!

The facility is very new, clean and neat. They provide water and some snacks for the pet-parents. They also have small treats for the pets! We didn’t wait too long when we took our dog in at night, and our dog got treated right away. They even followed up to check on our dog’s condition after a week. Thank you CASE animal hospital!
