My newly adopted cat suddenly needed a life saving surgery yesterday, they took her right in same day in less than an hour after the initial phone call, and gave her the best care. They stayed past closing hours just to make sure her recovery was a success. Shes already feeling so much better. They called today to see how shes doing. These people truly care about your pet. You're in good hands here.

Waited for appointment reasonable amount of time. It was a vet tech appointment, and it went great. Luca loves the woman who took care of him, so it was an easy visit. Front office staff was very pleasant and efficient. I also appreciate that they sent me an email to remind me about immunizations for my pet.

We brought our dog to be euthanized and cremated. They were very loving and showed empathy. It was a really friendly environment I would highly recommend them for all your pets needs

I was trying to get an appointment for my puppy in Barstow ca but the next available date wasn’t till a month away so I stumbled across this place which is close to my parents. The first appointment I missed due to traffic adding an extra 2 hours to the vet, the office was really understanding and waved the cancellation fee which I was greatly appreciated! The office was really clean the staff up front was really polite. The doctor was absolutely great ! Definitely recommend this vet ! I’ll be traveling 2 hours just to continue to see this vet!

The facility and staff are the best! I went on a Sunday morning to their urgent care because of serious worsening health concerns with my dog. I called right when they opened and was able to come in and be seen immediately! While our usual vet clinic is closed on weekends and there was long waits or no availability at other pet urgent cares in the area. The facility is large, new, and modern from what I saw and experienced. Doctor Abrahams was kind, informative, thorough, and very helpful. As a medical doctor/physician for humans myself, he answered all my questions and concerns and did all the necessary and appropriate tests for my dog. He ended up urgently referring me to a specialist vet hospital in Del Mar due to concerns of neurological issues. He even spoke directly with the specialists there, sent them his results and assessment (labs, imaging, and videos), gave me all their information, and set up the transfer at the other hospital! So everything was set to go and the staff there were expecting me even before I got to the specialty hospital. Fortunately my dog is doing so much better and we finally have some answers to her medical issues. I cant thank him or the staff enough! Highly recommend South Temecula Veterinary Hospital for routine pet care and urgent care.

What's great - great hours, easy to get an appointment, excellent Vet Techs, knowledgeable vets.

What's not so great - Some of the vets are part-time, which means 1) you may not be able to see the same vet two appointments in a row and 2) it means it can be a headache to get results back from bloodwork, prescriptions refilled because they don't seem to have a good hand-off system from vets off schedule to those that are on schedule...this meant I often had to call multiple times to find out status because my "last" vet was out. And I found that prescription refills often went beyond the 24-48 hours mentioned in the hold "music" ads ( this happened 3 out of 4 months). It has not been uncommon for me to wait 15 minutes or more on hold when calling for follow ups.

It is a very large and busy practice and has a very corporate feel - almost like a human HMO clinic and somewhat impersonal.

For me this practice isn't a fit because I have realized I value the feel of a smaller practice over the convenience of a practice with wider appointment availability.

Our first visit. Facility was clean easy to maneuver our makeshift gearny. Called in earlier that day due to our veterinarian unable to get us in for a visit.

We found both the inpatient nurse and Dr. to be excellent, kind, compassionate, sympathetic and knowledgeable to our pets needs.

Our doctor was very detailed about the plan to get Kiwi back to a comfort level and without pain. She explained all considerations of the issues and was in agreement for making Kiwi as comfortable as possible on a medication plan. Suggested ruling out other items with some tests that may have been causing her pain and make her in capable of walking. Reviewed all details and tests and our Dr. was thorough about the next steps. We were very thankful about being seen within a few hours of the initial call.

Everyone was great and while this was not our regular Veterinarian we would consider continuing future service moving forward. We thank everyone.

It was my dog first visit and she seemed to like everyone. She’s never been this comfortable at any other veterinarian. She has some tooth extractions coming up. I feel that she’ll be in good hands and hopefully a reasonable price.
