After 2 days at two different veterinary hospitals in San Diego (I live in Southbay), and a sick kitty with pyometra, I THANK GOD, was given the name of thus hospital.
Anicira is a pet hospital that apparently specializes in pyometra surgeries and more.
The emergency vet hospital in Mission Valley on the south side of the 8... took very good care of my kitty. But they estimated between 6 and 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS to have board certified surgeons perform the necessary surgery to save my kitty, Bonnie's life .
Anicira had my baby from 7:00am until 4pm and my total charge was $550.
Her surgery went well, she has been 100 percent improved since she came home.
Not only was the cost less than 10% of what I could have possibly been asked to finance (I don't have an extra 6-8k in my savings)
But the staff was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and I couldn't say anything negative.
I spent all day and around 150 miles driving, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

They were very good with my 13 year old dog and addressed all my concerns for an AMAZING price. She got 4 teeth out and is recovering beautifully. The doctor was also AMAZING she took the time to explain my dogs blood work and gave me very detailed information. Great team thank you very much!

This clinic provided one of the best veterinary experiences I’ve ever had as a pet owner. Although the first available appointment was 2 months out, it was 100% worth the wait.

Our dachshund needed a dental cleaning and extraction which would require anesthesia. Our normal vet quoted us over $2000 and Anicira cost less than 1/3 of that cost.

The results are truly astounding. Our sweet girl’s teeth are perfectly clean with no more doggy breath.

Most importantly, they took such amazing care that she wouldn’t be in any pain. Even calling us the day after to make sure she was feeling good. We were nervous to trust anyone with our beloved pup but they took such good care of her. I couldn’t recommend this clinic more!

I’m SO happy I found this place I was terrified of my girl getting spayed just the thought of going under made me super nervous. The staff was wonderful. Jacob, who I believe I spoke to on the phone when I called, stood out especially. They were exceptionally thoughtful and walked me through the process of setting up my appointment, what documents I needed to gather, how to send them, and was overall so kind when I explained what my situation was with my pet and how urgent the matter was. If only all offices had a Jacob! Truly lovely.
Anicira cared for my cat Bruce like he was one of their own and got him into surgery right away. And the price point for that level of care can't be beat! They were exactly what we needed, for a price we could actually afford, especially during an emergency. Unbelievable.

Anicira was well organized, clean and efficient during my recent visit. The staff were kind, helpful and informative. The communication to me about pricing was clear and straight forward. The pricing is also more affordable then all other places I've been too. I will definitely go back for future animal surgical needs.
