Cada vez es peor la atención que nos brindan, hemos ido con nuestra mascota en tres ocasiones . La primera vez fue excepcional todos muy amables desde from desk hasta el médico veterinario. Sentimos que era la veterinaria de confianza que necesitamos. Pero la segunda vez era la cita de control, ellos no tenían la historia clínica de mi perro y ni lo recordaban mucho menos lo que le habían recetado, tuvimos que ponerlos en contexto de todo lo que se había hablado en la primera cita. Hoy volvimos y el trato fue peor, se burlaron de nosotros y de nuestro perro, por hacer preguntas que las sabe un profesional y no una persona que no ha estudiado esta profesión.

The attention is bad, we have gone with our pet three times. The first time was exceptional all very friendly from desk to the veterinarian. We felt it was the trusted veterinarian we need. But the second time was the control appointment, they did not have the medical history of my dog ​​and they did not remember much less what they had prescribed, we had to put them in context of everything that had been spoken on the first appointment. Today we returned and the treatment was worse, they mocked us and our dog, for asking questions that a professional knows and not a person who has not studied this profession.

I cannot recommend Dr. Gary at VCA Animal Hospital enough! I was referred to him by my dog boarder and groomer, Valentina, after I had some disappointing experiences with my previous vet in South Beach. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had found the right place.

Dr. Gary is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive with my dogs. It's clear he genuinely cares about their well-being, and I trust him completely. Despite my hectic work schedule, which has led me to reschedule a few appointments, the front desk staff has always been so patient and accommodating—they really go above and beyond to work with me.

The facilities are stunning—modern, high-tech, and spotlessly clean. Every staff member I've encountered has been friendly and professional, making every visit a positive experience.

Dr. Gary has earned my trust, and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. I feel so fortunate to have found him. Highly recommend!

Alex did an incredible job taking care of my dog, Layla. I had to go away on a work trip and wanted to make sure my dog was taken care of by a professional and Alex met and exceeded my expectations. He made sure to provide me with photos and videos of how my baby was doing each day. He is VERY good with dogs and you can tell he is very passionate about his work.
He followed my care taking instructions and I was able to be away without any worry. I highly recommend you bring your pet to Alex. Very reliable and will keep your animal safe and happy always!

After being a loyal client of VCA Alton Road for 18 years, bringing in three beloved pets and receiving excellent care from wonderful doctors, I am deeply saddened by my recent experience.

I had an emergency with my dog Milo and tried calling the clinic for nearly an hour, only to be put on hold without ever getting through. In desperation, I arrived at the clinic at 5:10 PM, hoping to get help. I was greeted by a staff member who seemed more concerned about her freshly mopped floor than my dog’s urgent condition. I saw three staff members by the front desk, but all of them pretended I didn’t exist. Since the clinic closes at 5 PM, the staff member didn’t even acknowledge my presence other than to say, “We are closed,” and then locked the door in my face.

She never once asked what had happened to my puppy. Instead, she told me to “Google it” to find the emergency clinic address.

This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. After nearly two decades of loyalty, I am leaving this practice because of the dismissive and uncaring response I received. It’s heartbreaking to be treated so poorly after such a long history of trust. I sincerely hope no other pet owners have to endure this kind of experience.

Nov 14th 2014 my dog Baggio was poisoned on Miami Beach along with 4 other dogs that same weekend! 2 survived my boy being one of them. They later tested and found it was Strychnine that poisoned all the dogs. The VCA Alton RD help tremendously in saving my dogs life after having multiple seizures. He’s now 12 years old and a very healthy and happy dog.

Also, he had cannabis in his system cause I smoke regularly. I feel that also helped with the help of GOD and the VCA.

It was a Saturday 6am were he had his first seizure and I carried him from 9th ocean dr to 5th Euclid while he popped and peed himself while in and out of seizing, I was thinking he was dying. Once in the apartment he was lifeless and tongue black. I rushed out to Euclid 5th and stopped the first car I saw, it was an Angel disguised as women in an old beat up minivan. She drove us to the VCA which she knew of, as she prayed while driving his tongue started to show color a little. It was a true miracle right before my eyes!

I can’t thank the staff and Dr enough it was a sat morning and now around 7am when I was smashing on your windows to see if they were open and luckily one of the nurses had arrived early.

My dog underwent a ovariohysterectomy surgical procedure by Dr. Fünk and it went great, and the next day Bella is doing great. Great job and thank you.

I can’t thank Dr. Johnson and her tech team enough for being so caring and loving towards my pup when he got super sick with no explanation as to how and why. Dr. Johnson and her team stayed in contact the whole time and reassured me and my worried family that our boy was going to be okay. Angel now has his favorite vet that he will be going to from now on for treatments/and follow up. Also, the front desk ladies were very helpful as well and nice.
