I came to Amador Valley Vet.on a day my dog needed help and I couldn't get into my regular Vet. for 3 days and she needed to be seen right away. After calling around Amador took me in right away. Dr.Summer Godfrey was wonderful, explained everything to me. My trust for her was instant, I never felt that about a Vet. before, was always nervous about leaving my best friend with anyone but felt she would be well taken care of and loved with Dr. Godfrey. The neat thing is that each and every time you make an appointment you and your pet will see Dr Chan as Dr Chan is Amador Valley Pet Hospital. Early on Dr Chan made a point to get to know us and more importantly our dogs. Dr Chan’s expertise shows in the knowledge and care she has provided for our dogs. Dr. Chan has been there for us even in times of emergency. Through the years I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Dr Chan and the support staff at Amador Vally Pet Hospital. Amador Valley vet has been great. I recently had an issue with our boarding facility which caused our dog to get ulcers/ bacteria infections in both eyes. I wasn’t able to administer the medication and so I brought him in and they have been amazing.
Summer Godfrey is our vet but we have also seen Nohava when we weren’t able to get in with Dr. Godfrey- we love both of them.

Also Suki at the front desk is amazing. She was so helpful and made everything easier.

The veterinarians, vet techs, and other staff here have always been very kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Dr. Godfrey took care of our hamster years ago and was so sweet about our being attached to such a little creature. Now we have an 8 month old dog, and Dr. Peterson was very reassuring and supportive, informative, and friendly to all of us. As first-time dog owners, we really appreciate the caring patience AVVC extends to us.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for 4 years. Between this location and Bishop Ranch, we have always gotten excellent care. Dr. Godfrey is great and very helpful regarding questions and the best treatment for my dog. She took care of my parents dog in the past and now I bring my dog to her as well. The office staff and technicians are friendly and helpful with arranging appointments and medications in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I can't say enough about how great Amador Valley Veterinary Center is! If you're a cat owner, they have a separate side just for cats - so much less stress for kitties! The staff I've met or dealt with are all wonderful - very responsive and caring. They are: Cindy (office manager), Suki, Bebe & Ashley. Also, Dr. Wolf is incredibly kind and informative - he always takes the to answer our questions.

We're so lucky this vet's office is in Pleasanton, and I highly recommend them!
