I’ve been coming here with my cats for the last three years and have never been so happy with a vet office before. I’ve recommended two others to bring their pets through Wise and Wonderful and both of them have come back with raving reviews. Dr. Powers and his team provide affordable, top tier care and I really appreciate the unique experience of procedures being done in front of me (no behind the door mystery handling), the options to go herbal or alternative with some medications, the ability to secure appointments without weeks or months of wait time, their professionalism, and the list goes on. Their business is run with kindness, flexibility and transparency and that can be hard to find all in one package. Love and trust this place with my critters and highly recommend them.

I'm not a reviewer, but my experience today finally compelled me to leave one. I get it; you have a policy around cancellations and deposits. Sometimes, though, the unavoidable in life happens, and when you call to try to reschedule, you get scolded about "the consequences" of canceling. I came down with covid over the weekend and left a voicemail while they were closed. My wife had to go out of town this morning and tend to her dying mother. There was literally nothing I could do, and the lady on the phone couldn't care less. So rather than help someone out who was having a rough day, and simply reschedule an appointment and KEEP A CUSTOMER, they chose $200. I'm new to the area, I have 3 dogs, and none of them will be seen at this clinic.

This Veterinary practice has helped my dog when others could not. He has an incurable neurological condition. I spent thousands of dollars taking him to Vets and specialists, who had nothing to offer him. A friend recommended Wise and Wonderful, so we gave them a try. Dr Powers is a kind and compassionate practitioner, skilled in the art of Eastern medicine. ( as well as traditional medicine) My dog not only loves going there, but the acupuncture treatments have definitely been helping! After his treatments, my dog has more energy, less symptoms and is happier. They also offer natural herb remedies and cold laser treatments. If you've been disappointed by other Vets, you should give Wise and Wonderful a try.

My experience with Wise and Wonderful has been consistently exemplary. I started bringing Sophie there about 5 years ago. At that time she had anxiety issues receiving health care due to prior experiences. She also had a serious heart condition and was recovering from ligament problems in her back legs. Dr. Power and the entire team have helped us through a variety of health issues with an emphasis on her well-being, both emotionally and physically. They are patient with her and go out of their way to make her visits stress free. Her anxiety and trust issues have improved so much that on a recent visit they were able to work on her teeth with no anesthetic. I give Wise and Wonderful my highest recommendation.

Dr. Power is excellent! He is really scientific in his approach and provides a lot of knowledge to help us make sound decisions for our cat. He also provides resources (web links) for areas that we can look into or topics than may have multiple opinions (i.e. are controversial in vet medicine) We got an email letter and summary of our office visit and then a full explanation on our pet's lab results.

This is a very special, well-run veterinary office with a warm, home-like atmosphere operated by some very caring, patient, and skillful practitioners. As a new “puppy mother” I had a lot of questions and concerns about how best to care for my 9-week old French Bulldog, including the health concerns particular to this breed. Tara, Dr Camille, and Mallory have all extended nothing but compassion and super helpful advice that aligns with my own desire for a combination of holistic and conventional care—borrowing the best from both worlds. I apply the same principles to my own healthcare, so it makes a lot of sense (to me) to give my canine the same type of care. From spacing out vaccines, to waiting until after first heat to spay, to feeding healthy foods—and a dose of realism around the importance of flea prevention due to breed skin sensitivities—I’m feeling ever more confident and happy I chose Wise & Wonderful for my little French “Flower” girl.
