I was looking for a place to have our kitten neutered, but vet prices are very high right now. Someone recommended Animal Medical Center and they were great! $150 less than our regular vet and they didn't tack on exam and office fees. They work with rescue groups, so they know how great the need for neutering services is. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday, which was great. The staff and vets are friendly and caring. They did a wonderful job on our Buster and he was fully recovered from the procedure by late afternoon. Kind of a long way for us to make them our regular vet, but if you live near Bascom and Camden in South San Jose and you have pets, they are a great choice!

This animal hospital is the way underrated. Five Stars are truly not enough. Look no further this team of highly experienced individuals are the best of the best.. All around great people I was in an out faster then you could imagine with absolute compterability. It has been a night mare searching for a dependable emergency vet. Called over a dozen different location in the bay area and I couldn't believe how under trained and unproffesional most locations really are. It's pretty bad when you can tell there only there for a check over the phone and being hung up on due to a stupid question. Or placed on hold with our ever getting through or a recording that repeats with no options. If you have ever searched for a vet you know exactly what I mean. Thank God I was refferd to Dr. Grewal and his well trained crew. I couldn't believe how fast the visit went. I was in and out in less than a hour with all questions answered a treatment plan and medications, and my dog was extremly close to death very larthargic from a serve case of parvo. She was too weak to even walk and with in hours after my visit she was by the door wanting to be walked. The whole team is highly educated professionals who work together as a elite team. Dr. Grewals leadership and delegation skills really reflect though his hard working caring polite employees I left there felling like I was just welcomed into the family the true animal lovers these guys thank you Carie and the rest of the crew all you guys are equally amazing. Allie girl is going great and my life is back on track. Thank you

Thank you to the animal medical center staff and Dr.grewal. My three-year-old German Shepherd had really bad allergies and a rash on his belly. I’ve tried everything you could think of. His other vet said to switch his food, and that still didn’t help. Dr. Grewal explained to me how fleas play a big role as to why Jax’s skin was getting like this. I quickly switched him over to a different flea medication and got him on antibiotics. He is now doing so much better especially his skin!
big bonus is that the front receptionist are very accommodating and they have such reasonable prices. I got him neutered there as well. It’s not easy finding a clinic that won’t charge you an arm and a leg. I finally found a vet that genuinely cares for the well being of my pup. THANK YOU ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER!

I couldn't be more impressed with Animal Medical Center and their staff. Very compassionate and thorough. It's comforting knowing I can leave my dog and she is well taken care of by Dr. Grewal and his Staff. I highly recommend this office They're Great..

A Caring Vet Office That Feels Like Family!

I brought my pet to this veterinary office for the first time and was so impressed by the wonderful care we received. Even though I made the appointment that same day, they were able to see us quickly. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was welcoming, patient, and attentive.
The vet took the time to calmly examine my nervous pet and explain what he was doing every step of the way. He was so gentle and compassionate that he made what could have been a stressful visit into a very pleasant experience for both me and my pet.
The receptionist and techs were just as caring. I could tell this office operates like one big family who all genuinely love animals. They helped distract my pet when he was anxious and made sure we understood all discharge instructions before leaving.
I am so relieved to have found a vet I can trust to look after my furry family member. The compassionate care from the staff turned a scary first-time visit into one that put all my fears at ease. I highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone looking for a vet that treats you like family.

Dr. Grewal is an exceptional veterinarian who truly cares about his patients and their well-being. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate, and always takes the time to explain everything in detail so that you can make informed decisions about your pet's care.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my beloved dog, Bubba, to Animal Medical Center San Jose and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and attention he received. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was evident that this clinic prioritizes cleanliness. We were greeted warmly by the staff, and the inviting atmosphere immediately helped to alleviate any nerves I had for Bubba.

Dr. Harbinder Grewal, Bubba's attending veterinarian, was an absolute gem. Not only was he incredibly attentive and pleasant, but his professionalism in every interaction. Dr. Grewal took the time to thoroughly examine Bubba, addressing all of my concerns with patience and clarity. His gentle demeanor put both Bubba and myself at ease, making the entire experience stress-free. He was very thorough and not pushy like some other vets, trying to upsell you random things to make money. I highly recommend this animal clinic.

I called Animal Medical Center and got same day appointment to neuter my dog. I have been putting it off trying to find a clinic that is reasonable. The front desk ladies are really nice and made me feel comfortable getting the procedure done.
I also got his dental done same day ( a bonus since I knew I had to get it done) we will definitely starting coming here! Our old vet prices are ridiculous. I’m glad we found this clinic, the doctor is very compassionate and took his time explaining the procedure. He called me once it was all done and let me know everything went well.
