There are less than 10 Cardiology Specialists in Bay Area. Most of them are booked out for 6-8 weeks. Glad that we found Apex to see our 10 years old dog, Kimchi. She is a little barker. Not friendly to strangers. But everyone was nice and patient. They were able to finish the exam for her so quick, and I can tell Kimchi feels very comfortable with them. Dr.Block was very patient and gave me the analysis report. She was able to answer all my questions. I really appreciate all your help! Great experience! The environment of the clinic is super nice, clean and comfortable. I will definitely recommend Apex to my friends and family. Everything!!!

Dr. Block is above and beyond as a Veterinary Cardiologist in every way!! She’s calm, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. We are so grateful for her expertise in managing our now 15 year old Oreo (a Japanese Chin) for his heart failure. It’s because of her that he’s lived as long as he has with great spirit and energy. She’s a gem in our community and you’d be lucky to have her treat/manage any of your fur babies.

Dr. Block treated our two cats in 2017- 2019 as they suffered from congestive heart failures (the cats were genetically related and had thickening heart valves, which is typical for the breed).

Our family can only praise her expertise, highly customized individual care plans and dedication to her patients (both pets and their owners). In addition to regularly scheduled visits, she responded via email 24/7 whenever I had questions about medication dosages or anything related to the care. Thanks to Dr. Block the cats maintained their quality of life till the end and did not suffer in pain! I can only wish that we, humans, had such a great doctor by our side should ever need a cardiologist!

We were referred to APEX Vet Specialists by our veterinarian after I had to take my dog Piper to the ER. I felt that Piper was in good hands with a very knowledgeable doctor and technicians. Everyone that helped us was really awesome! Being able to be seen almost immediately after Piper's ER visit was very much appreciated. The staff treated Piper in an empathetic and gentle manner and the knowledge shared to get Piper the best end result/quality of life in her current condition was extremely helpful. The whole experience was very nice. From the front desk staff to the vet techs and of course Dr. Block. Everyone was kind and caring and professional They treated my cat with love and like she was their own. Dr. Block spent time with us, answering all of my questions and is very knowledgeable. She explained things to me so I could understand everyhting. I'm so glad that I finally found a cardiologist specialist for my furkids. Everyone there really ared about my Tiny Bubbles cat.

We had the great privilege of working with Dr. Block while she was in Washington, D. C. There are no words to express our appreciation for her and her knowledge and expertise. She is thoughtful and extremely careful when treating her patients (and the owner!). Dr. Block treats the whole body but specializes in the heart.

We had a rescue poodle for a number of years, Dr. Block probably tarted treating Bouchon when he was around 12 or 14. We knew he had a heart murmur but with the care Dr. Block provided he lived to be 20, every day was a blessing thanks to Dr. Block.

Yoki TT

This is the calmest vet experience my cat Yoki ever has. She is usually very nervous at vet but she did well at Apex. Jennifer, Candice and Dr Block and nice and kind, and they all interact with Yoki very well. Dr Block is very professional in explaining the medical conditions of Yoki and has great treatment suggestions. The team is also very responsive in follow up questions. Upon receiving news our Boston Terrier suffered from patent ductus arteriosus (PDA),a diagnosis with limited short-term survival, we were referred to Dr. Chloe Block.
