The worst company to deal with regarding pension benefits!! They are not professionals, they are corrupt,They are fraudulent by nature!! Careless insensitive regarding peoples time. They lie about everything and anything in order for them to retain our monies in their hands! They are making millions ok interest with our money so the longer they hold those funds the greater their benefits are! I have been dealing with them for months trying to pull my funds out of their control but they always make thousands of excuses for them to hold our money and not pay what is ours! I will be reporting their practices to the Arizona’s Attorney general and have them audit them and to file a lawsuit against them. These people need to stop playing games with us.

Almost 1 1/2 YEARS after my husband passed away and I'm still waiting on the balance of his benefits to be released. Every time I call, they don't know the answer to my simple question of "when?". They tell me another audit is needed and to call back "in a month or two." Absolutely despicable service. No one should treat a widow with children at home the way they have treated me.

Sat on hold for an hour & a half to obtain benefits for a new member. Once someone finally answered they said I needed an audit number to verify benefits. WHEN DID THIS START I’ve never had an issue like I have with this company to verify benefits. As a healthcare provider, I will ensure I DO NOT see patients with this insurance.

Has anyone recieved their UFCW pension benefits? I started the process mid July 2023. Everyone of my responses to requests to submit documentations has been immediate and via trackable mail. Not one employee has contacted me but I've contacted the pension administrators about a dozen times trying to get info. My last contact was 3 weeks ago. They've had everyhing they need to process my pension since July. I'm concernced that I may never see the benefit. Is anyone recieving pension benefits from this Union administrator?

There are many positive reviews on here (which I love) there are unfortunately a few negative reviews (I am assuming most are) past workers that didn’t take a great job seriously. You must not have worked at SSA long enough to realize it is a great company with the ability to progress and move up within the company . It’s more then just a job, it’s a career and also a family. Barbara Ray and Bill give us extra paid holidays off because they want to show us appreciation.
During the beginning of the pandemic they gave us all stimulus bonuses because they wanted to and because they appreciate us and care about us. Every Christmas holiday they cater breakfast with a paid hour to mingle and eat and then give us $100 in gift cards along with bonuses. Tell me what company does that out of the kindness of their heart? There are a lot of amazing amazing people that work at SSA. I have been there for a bit over 4 years and I won’t work anywhere else. This is my career.
They have amazing benefits that cost barely anything. I seriously pay about $60 per month for myself and my family for a whole health care plan and that includes extra dental. It’s a Union job so you get extras on top of that. Like discounts on so many things, paid tuition for college, many paid holidays and the vacation and PPL time you get is amazing! They have a 401k plan that they contribute to. Not to mention you earn a pension!!

The laziness at this place is Amazing! They haven't been open for walk-ins in 2 years because they don't want to be held accountable for the horrible customer service they provide. It takes on average 15-20min to speak to someone and when you do finally get a hold of someone they don't have a clue on how to assist you. Then you'll be transferred to someone who knows less than the person you spoke with previously. Please, teamsters raise your standards.

Horrible company. Still hasn’t processed a pension claim that was applied for 7 months ago, well past the 90 days they said it would take. Every phone call results in a version of “ the check is in the mail” lie! What can I say that hasn’t already been said about lack of customer service, lack of integrity, lack of professionalism by so many reviewers? Simply horrible. I also suspect they are having their own people seed positive ratings with NO explanations in order to boost their pathetic review score!
