Needs help with bedside manner, this Vet has completely forgotten the love of animals. He is very forgetful as well, and will bark at customers trying to explain that he misunderstood something. The tech at the front must spend half the day apologizing

I had been looking for a long time for a good veterinarian for my two dogs. I live here in Rantoul, Illinois so it was hard to find a veterinarian close to home that has reasonable pricing and is wonderful to both of my girls. I have a teacup Chihuahua & a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, both are very well mannered girls. I was very impressed with both the veterinarian and his assistant. They gave me good information, did the necessary bloodworm to make sure my girls didn't have heart worms, etc. My girls Loved them at their doctors office visit . I would highly recommend Acre Hill Veterninary Clinic to anyone who is looking for Doctors who treat your babies like Family.

This vet is very rude. I needed records of an animal he cared for transferred over to St. Joseph Vet. He told me he could not email records but could fax right away, which I didn't mind. I wanted Dr. Stubblefield to confirm the fax number I gave him to have records sent and he YELLED over the phone to me the fax number he took down. I did tell him that this was an urgent request because the animal was having a splint placed under anesthesia this morning and he proceeded to say I'll send the records as soon as you get off the phone. Again, very rude man and will not EVER recommend this place to anyone.

Do not recommend. DVM is condescending, rude, and has absolutely no "bedside" manner with pet parents. I was working with a limited budget but was very concerned about my pet and was told "this is the way it's going to be at my clinic and if you don't like it you can leave". DVM told me my pet needed blood work offered for me to take the sample to the U of I lab since they only ran the test 1 time per week. I offered to take the sample to another vet clinic that I knew had the ability to run the test at their clinic and the rude response above is what I got. I feel like all vet clinics could be a bit more of a community in this area instead of competing so much. I understand completely that they care about animals and also have to run a business and sometimes those work against each other but come on to be so rude and absolutely unkind......

So, I took my cat in for a complimentary first exam. An elderly man in a lab coat (he didn't introduce himself) weighed the cat and looked at her medical history. He then said his assistant would complete the exam, unless I had any questions. After I asked a question, he explained that he would charge $65 for an answer! Needless to say, I'll be looking for a local vet who is more open, and less greedy!

The team truly cares so much for the animals. Always explains everything in detail so you know what is going on. Very supportive. Kind, professional, and so caring. We won't take our pets anywhere else.
