We have used Adoption First for both wellness visits and when we had our poodle spayed. Both experiences were great. The staff is friendly and allows you to ask any questions. When address concerns they will treat you with respect and break it down in terms that are easy to understand. It’s super easy to schedule an appointment. The prices are extremely reasonable. Our dog was a little nervous and instead of forcing her to get her vaccines and nail trims the moved our appointment later in the week . They wanted her to come in early morning which worked out. They truly care for your pets well being putting them first and foremost over profit. The best part the wait times are minimal when you’re scheduled for a certain time you will be seen at that time. Getting my dog fixed there was also hassle free and affordable they never try to push or up sell. They made sure she was comfortable. A few days after surgery my wife had some questions they took the time to answer them all over the phone. I do want to note this is not a traditional vet where you can sit with your dog during the exam, however they will go out of their way to make sure the pet is safe and not stressed.

We adopted our dog Lucy four years ago and she has been the best addition to our family! Everyone at Adoption First is caring and so easy to work with. We are now using them as our vet for Lucy and our cats because they are so affordable and because of the quality of care. We also recently adopted Sally from them. She adores Lucy and wants to sleep in the cage with her at night. I can’t imagine rescuing a family member from anyone but Adoption First.

I just adopted this sweet girl last weekend from adoption first. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. She has been such a wonderful addition to my pack. I can't thank this organization enough for bringing this calm, loving, fuzzy princess into my life.

I’ve been following them for a fe months because I was interested in adopting a pet.
We had the opportunity to come 3 different times to check different pets until we found the one for us.
I like the customer service because the volunteers were always very happy, patient and helpful when it came to one on one visits with different pets.
I can tell they work very hard to keep their pets as comfortable as they can.
The Adoption process was quick, within the same day we had her and all her paperwork ready to come home.
Thank you for all the work you do and I will continue to support this organization that only wants the best for the pets.

We adopted our sweet Remy at 8 weeks old from Adoption First Animal Rescue in February 2024. She got all her first shots, microchipped, and spayed at their vets office. I even got newborn pictures from her foster mom. Overall great experience!!

Nice and welcoming place. They care very well for their animals only issue I had was I was going to try to adopt a dog and have it be an emotional support animal. They would not let me take the pet or attempt to pay for them since I needed the paperwork first. Due to needing to wait for paperwork which I got within two days the animal I was interested in wasn’t available anymore. And I wasn’t able to get the one I wanted. While this experience was really upsetting the overall love and care for the animals was amazing and I hope the pet I wanted has their loving home. If you are able to get the pet as a normal animal and your place of living allows it you can definitely have a good experience but if you need to wait for paperwork like an emotional support animal letter don’t hold your breath since they cannot hold any pet for you and it is a high chance you won’t get it.

Her name was initially Gyro. Her name is now Luna and she is the sweetest pup. She has not been in my home about 24 hours and she gets along with my dog Rosie. She is a big cuddler, she is sweet and she is so playful! I am so glad I could make a difference in her life!

DO NOT take your pet here if you care about their comfort and don't want your cat coming back to you covered in their own pee and blood. The price we paid was ridiculously too high for the kind of service we received, they only trimmed half of his paws, let him sit in his crate on top of a newspaper absolutely SOAKED in his own pee and had blood all over his tail. They then had the nerve to say we couldn't bathe him which I understand after a neuter like that but whats the difference in him soaking in water versus being left to sit in his own pee for hours. The pee and blood is so soaked into his skin and fur it had to have been HOURS he sat like that and we did come to get him as soon as we could so its very unacceptable for us to receive him back to us like that with them having made absolutely no attempt to even wipe him off just a little bit. Absolute horror show and nobody in there should have their license to be able to care for an animal.
