If I could leave less than a 1 star review, I absolutely would. I have never left a negative review, but I truly care about that people who might go into this facility for care and I want them to have better care than what my mom experienced. My mom was placed here on a ventilator for several weeks and it was the worst few weeks of our lives. They did not care for her well, my dad and i were there every day during the visiting hours allowed and witnessed how much they did not provide care to her. She would wait over an hour for someone to answer her call light and they came in, turned her call light off and said they would be back and we would need to turn it on after over an hour again. She was in several other places before getting to this place and this was the only one that she was genuinely scared to stay alone at and we unfortunately were not allowed to stay with her at night. She needed changing due to not being able to get out of bed and they rarely came in, so my dad and I did that every time basically. They eventually put in a catheter and they neglected to care for that as well. It would get so full that when I would get there it was going back up into the tubing which is incredibly dangerous and nasty. I took care of many things like that myself. The way they talked to her was another issue and I had to step in and address them and even got a State Ombudsman involved to advocate for us and filed a complaint with the state. While I cannot speak to the care they are currently providing, I also cannot in good conscience recommend anyone go to this facility. If we had any other option for her, we would have moved her immediately but there are very few ventilator beds where they can help ween you off of the vent in Indiana. I know that this may be the only option for some of your families, so this is also meant to be a warning for you all to advocate and be watchful of the care your loved one is experiencing. My mom passed away in May 2022 a few short months after leaving this place and if I could have done anything to help her not have to have this place be one of the last facilities she was in during her battle of fighting for her life, I absolutely would change whatever for that to happen. I pray that they have changed since then and if you are currently a resident/have a family member who is a resident here, then you are treated with the best care because you/they deserve that.

My brother spent 6 1/2 weeks in a coma at Clark memorial hospital. He almost died several times. When he finally woke up and started to improve the only nursing facility that could take him was this place. He spent a month there and I can honestly say it was the biggest nightmare!!! The nurses will tell you to leave them alone, lpns will go off on you in front of your love one. His colostomy bag busted or leaked so many times and he would lay there for hours before ANYONE would answer the nurses button or unless myself or my mom called there. His gtube got infected and they didn't care. I would not recommend sending anyone to this place. The last time my brother asked someone to empty his colostomy bag the aid said "can't you do it yourself" and walked out of the room.... he asked for a bath on a Sunday and was told they don't give baths on Sundays. CNAs complain about doing their jobs. Not to mention if they do clean the bedding they throw the sheets that have feces on them on the floor or in the bathroom and leave them. I have pictures to back all of this up with!

I am a resident now. The 3rd shift women must have changed . Because these new nurses seem very mean. They roll their eyes when you ask for anything. Nine times out of ten you don't get it. I haven't had water in 3 days! The new or shift people change must have happened around 3 days ago. If one more click looks at me hateful if I ask them to get off their ass and phones. I don't know where the hate comes from I've never been anything but polite. I'm about to file a racism suit me being of light skinned look white but part Indian, but I'm sure they have me listed as white. I need someone with some clout to talk to me quickly, or I will proceed. Rm 116 ok new post didn't think it could get any worse but I was just told this place is like jail and if you don't comply in jail you get beat down. Which clearly sounded like a threat to the man. Last ten nights there have been emergency lights on and people hollering for help and at one point the aid was right outside his door and didn't get up. A paralyzed gentlemenwent to her today because his bag was on wrong and filthy. It's in his file according to the hospital it should be flushed 3 times daily. He has been her weeks and never been flushed. Times I've heard him screaming for a dri k so I went and gave him a drink only then did they move. I also heard them tell him there wasn't any blankets. I offered mine and magically they found one but they had to get out of the chair and walk to get it. I'm starting to record these things cause they have rules too. We pay them to take care of us and they do the bare minimum at best.swear to God I pray I ok eave soon. I can't handle worrying every day. Someone is going to die to their neglect and I want it investigated if someone does.!!!!!

I was 49 years old and sent to Allison Pointe after time on a vent from Covid. While at this awful place, there were days I did not get a meal, days I did not get meds, and never showered. I endured a stay of two weeks before I fled by ambulance. My husband had to argue with three staff, and the doctor because he was calling an ambulance to take me out. When arriving at Methodist, after being in Allison Pointe, I had pneumonia, UTI and my PIC line had been half pulled out of my arm. That is a port to my heart!!! PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!

Not understanding the negative reviews here. My dad has been here since September. They have provided great care for him. The communication is above and beyond with the staff here and they seem to genuinely care for my father.

Please do not send your love ones or anyone to this place. My father was transferred to Allison Pointe on 4/20. On 4/23, I had him removed. The service/ level of care there was horrible. He declined very quickly. My father was transferred to Allison Pointe in order to complete rehabilitation. He had a stroke on 2/23/2024. He is unable to speak and move his limbs on the left side of his body. This is why he was placed there. The staff is not helpful. No one knows anything. The communication is terrible. When I attempted to ask a question, it was if I was bothering them. Speaking of staff, no one was in uniform and it was hard to determine who was who. Staff doesn’t have any bedside manners. I was appalled and in disbelief to how he and I were treated. No one deserves to be treated in such an inhumane manner. On 4/22, I asked, who I assumed was a nurse, “when was the last time has my father had a tubal feeding?” He has a feeding tube. She was not sure and assumed a time. My father was very warm and I asked if she could take his temperature. His temperature was 99.7. She offered to remove a blanket from him. I asked, “ can you make sure he is adjusted ever two hours.” She stated, I can try but we may not be able to.” Then she proceeded to tell me that he has some open wounds. On 4/23, I called the ambulance to have him removed from this location and taken to the ER. He was soaked in his own urine and feces. Once test were ran it was determined that he had an infection that required him to be placed on an antibiotic. People don't realize that they to may need someone to care for them one day. You reap what you sow, karma is real, what goes around comes around. God will handled you all!!!!!! This place is out of order.

Best friend sent here to rehab! This place is not safe!!! . Neglect in every area! The state inspectors should be fired and this facility shut down. As said in previous posts, you’ve been warned.

I recently toured this campus and am impressed with the level of care provided here, 24/7 onsite respiratory therapy with vent capabilities, in house HD, impressive wound care program. Definitely worth a tour and meeting the staff and current residents. The campus also has a 5 star rating from cms for both their quality of care rolling term and short term stay residents. Worth a visit!
