Dr. Frank Coburn and staff are the best in Prescott. My pets have gone to him almost since he opened his practice here, 20-30 years ago. He treats each animal as if they were his own and he treats humans very good as well! He is kind and sweet, truly lives the animals he treats, and doesn't over charge for his services. We have never had a problem with him or his staff. He's an excellent veterinarian and a good human being and I recommend him highly.

So unfortunately, I'm changing my review of this place. The vet techs that helped us were very sweet and polite. We appreciate them helping with our dogs vaccines and heartworm meds, however we are really disappointed in their medical care. Our smallest dog was battling a UTI and they repeatedy gave us different medications, only doing a simple in-office urine test. They didn't do any extensive testing or any x-rays, so this whole time we have been treating her for a UTI. Thankfully another amazing vet office looked at her and did some testing. Turns out she has bladder stones and is having surgery immediately. Animal Care Clinic never even tried to do any additional testing. We've never met the vet either. All of the communication was done with their office staff. We wasted so much money at this facility, just for our poor dog to suffer. I would go elsewhere for veterinary care. They wouldn't even cooperate with sending our dogs full medical history to our new vet.

My partner's cat was ill and took her in for a second opinion. After having wasted our time (and $) with another vet, Dr. Frank was very honest and to the point with his diagnosis. We had to put sweet Robin to sleep, but Dr. Frank and his staff were very professional and very caring. I take my dogs to Dr. Frank and always get great service.

Dr Coburn is great. He has done a great job with my 2 dogs. Unfortunately the receptionist is a jerk. She does not care about the animals at all. I called in tears concerned about a large hot lump on my dog. She did not seem concerned and gave me an appointment late in the day. When I called another vet to get a earlier appointment, she called both my work and my personal phone to yell at me for going to another office. This is harassment.

Dr Coburn and his staff are some of the kindest, most professional and compassionate animal care folks on the planet. Prescott is blessed to have a caring non-corporate awesome veterinarian like this! Trusted for years.

Phenomenal care. Still can't go in but the doctor comes out. Dr. Frank and Jennifer came out to discuss a surgery mt 10 year old pupper needs to have. Answered all my questions and did not rush me. Great comfort from them. Please go to them. Wonderful people and wonderful care.

The doctor was nice.

Our dog has been coughing for 2 months. We have brought our dog in for 2 appointments and were prescribed 5 different medications. The doctor said we should contact him in a few days if the dog is still coughing and he would prescribe a narcotic as it was the last available medication, and thankfully this narcotic medication was guaranteed to fix his cough. Yay!

I contacted the clinic 1 week later as the dog is still coughing. After leaving a message with the receptionist at 7am, and checking in at 3pm wondering when I’d receive a call back, I was forced to leave a message by phone after hours.

I received a call the next day that I would need to schedule another appointment for an xray, same day.

I called them back immediately and they now said we must schedule an appointment for the next day. I calmly stated my intention to confront the doctor for lying to me with regards to prescribing the narcotic medication.

The receptionist started yelling at me that the doctor did not lie, that I was wrong, and that the clinic would not feel comfortable treating my dog. She cancelled my appointment.

Hours later, my girlfriend called, since they clearly did not want to deal with me. She calmly explained that she would like them to schedule the appointment and xray the dog. The receptionist began yelling at her, screaming that she had spoken with the doctor about how horrible I had been with her on the phone and they wanted nothing to do with me, and by proxy, our dog.

I would not recommend this place to anyone as their customer service is a 0/10.

Awful. I will never take my dog here again. I’ve had a few experiences but figured they knew her best. The dr. Rude he has no bed side manor. The person who came to get my dog when they brought her back let her off the leash and she was lost running up and down Sheldon street. The dr. Didn’t even offer me a sorry offered no
Real treatmeants for my dog with a possible diagnoses of rabies but with no exam. It was a god awful experience
