Didn't know what to expect going in, as I was new to this place. Very warm and welcoming, staff were great. We saw Dr. Malik for an issue with one of my indoor cats. Wait wasn't long and overall it was about 30 minutes total. Helped my cat quickly and even cost less than expected at checkout. Definitely recommend and will going there in the future.

Sketchy doctor, sketchy techs, sketchy receptionists. refusing to release client records and according to the AVMA clients own records and clinics DO NOT OWN Records. Receptionists state the “doctor” needs to “review” the records before they can send. This is ILLEGAL. The poplar grove vet is sub par care at best. Do not take your pets here. I repeat. Do not take your pets here.

Amazing and caring vet. I got my female bengal spaded from here and everything went great and the doctor made sure to checkup afterwards. Very happy and would reccomend.

My Bayley broke a toenail pretty far down and was bleeding, the Emergency vet refused her, I called a vet in Loves Park and they didn't have a vet in, told me to call here, Im glad i did, they were wonderful and very caring ❤️ Thank you

The staff is Amazing. They're very helpful, patient, very good at what they do, and took great care of our puppy. Where they can improve is being more clear about what the costs are associated with care for our dog. I paid their full package price because I just wanted everything for my pup, then recently was told I need to pay more on the next visit to complete a treatment. Why? just add it to the full package.

If you have pets and you care about them this is where you want to take them.. I have been taking my dogs here both past and present for over 11 years. The Dr. , Dr. Malik and his staff are knowledgeable and no question you may have ever goes unanswered .. They are like family and treat your pets as if they were their own !!! So please if you are looking for a vet look no further than The Animal Clinic of Poplar Grove I promise you will be over joyed you did and so will your fur babies..

We highly recommend this vet clinic. Everyone is so great, caring, and kind at the Animal Clinic of Poplar Grove!!! This time we had to take our Chihuahua in, he was acting weird, etc. They knew exactly how to relate to him which is no easy task. He's getting to be a grumpy little old man, but they were able to even clip his nails.

Dr Malik is a very caring vet! He spends time to really understand your animal and your concerns about their health. I’ve been going to him for years now and am very happy with his care for my 3 cats and dog.
