They lost my cat inside an exposed water duct in the back room where they perform x rays. My poor cat was trapped inside a filthy water duct covered in sewage for three hours, until a contractor arrived and uninstalled the cabinets from the wall so that they could access the duct. This duct was in a space that customers don't see, and if customers could see the filth and unsafe conditions, then they would not want their pets to receive care in that space.

I left my injured cat in their care to receive x rays, trusting them to help her, and instead, they lost her and traumatized her and risked aggravating her injury or exposing her to infection. We were incredibly lucky that she was physically healthy after the ordeal.

This is one of the best Vet services I have experienced for myself as an owner and for my dog. Dr. D and the staff are always welcoming and caring and easily reachable. What I mean by that is they open 7 days a week till 6pm everyday. I am traveling my pet internationally and had to get the USDA health certificate. They provided the best service and made sure I am all set before travel. I highly recommend Animal Cove to folks who are looking for a positive, fair cost and high quality Vet experience!

I've been coming to Animal Cove Pet Hospital since I moved to the Bay Area a couple years ago. When I first moved here my dog got sick and no other vets nearby were taking new clients. I was able to get an appointment right away at Animal Cove and Dr. G was able to diagnose him with pancreatitis by suggesting I do one diagnostic blood test instead of charging me an arm and a leg for every test available (he quickly recovered after being prescribed the appropriate meds). I've been bringing my other dogs too since then and I'm always able to get an appointment and have all of our concerns addressed promptly and professionally. Price is reasonable considering it is the Bay Area. I have also traveled internationally with one of my dogs and Dr. G is knowledgeable when it comes to completing the paperwork correctly. He went the extra mile to make sure USDA processed my dog's travel certificate in time for my travels. I will continue coming here as long as I am in the Bay Area.

I don’t recommend. She didn’t do the one thing that I later found out was most important. Long story but instead of giving my dog the medication that would have kept her alive a bit longer, which I asked for, she simply put her in an oxygen tank and gave me a prescription for the meds. This was after my dog being at the vet for hours. Why? Because I didn’t agree to a bunch of pricy tests.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Dr. Dilip Garikipati at the Animal Cove clinic for their exceptional assistance. As foreigners, we were faced with the challenge of obtaining an international certificate for our dog, which was crucial for our upcoming flight. The doctor and the entire staff warmly welcomed us and guided us through the process efficiently and accurately. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, our dog received the necessary documentation in a timely manner, ensuring the safety of our journey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and administrators at the Animal Cove clinic for their exceptional care and support.

Dr. Ina takes care of my dog for 2 years now. She is always able to help and find a way to see him in emergencies even in super busy days. She is kind knowledgeable and respectful. I’m so thankful I have them so close to where I live.

I came in with a complaint of reduced visual acuity in my 13 year old cocker spaniel poodle mix 3 weeks ago. I thought she had cataracts, but obviously I am not a vet or an ophthalmologist. I saw Dr. G, and he quickly looked in her eyes, said no cataracts. Did not do further testing of her eyes, no eye pressures or any other tests despite cocker spaniels being a breed prone to glaucoma as I later found out. 3 weeks later, my dog developed a swollen eye, and by the time she was seen by a dog ophthalmologist, she was blind in her right eye. I called to tell the clinic about this miss and I was told Dr. G would call me but he never did. I'm devastated, especially since if this was caught sooner, her vision would have been saved. Glaucoma is a slow process but if left untreated will result in blindness which my dog now suffers from in her right eye, which eventually had to be removed. Thankfully she has her left eye, but I unfortunately will have to look for another veterinarian. I'm absolutely devastated and this is as much as I can say about that.
