We had to take our Brimley on an early Sunday morning as he had trouble breathing though his nose. Dr. Vriend took a look at him and recommended he get a CT Scan at another nearby hospital. He was compassionate and thorough regarding his treatment options given his age (almost 17) and the potential cancer in his sinus.

We took his extensive report to the other hospital and they agreed with his assessment. We had to make the emotionally difficult decision to give him the soft goodbye. While we are still mourning, I am thankful that Animal Emergency Center of Las Vegas and Henderson were able to provide care for him at the time.

I know you never see pet parents at their best being an Animal ER and I appreciate the way we were treated when we were there. It's such a selfless role but it's for the greater good. Thanks again everyone for the service your provide pet parents.

I am so disappointed with the Animal Emergency Center.

My smaller dog was attacked by my neighbor's three bigger dogs around 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I called and was assured he could be seen quickly.

He was taken to the back after a short wait. After almost two hours they presented a treatment plan at the cost of over $3,000.

My dog was in the back room with multiple bites and in severe pain with NOTHING done for almost TWO HOURS! I was furious!

We said no and asked where else we could take him. Thankfully, we were referred to Tropicana Animal Hospital for "cheaper" treatment (which is why I gave it 2 Stars).

We paid $150 for a treatment plan while my dog lay suffering in the back.

I went to this clinic many years ago and was very happy with the care. Unfortunately, things have changed. We now have more options for emergency clinics so I will not be returning to the Animal Emergency Center.

Last week we rushed our dog to this facility because she unexpectedly collapsed. Long story short- cancer. The amount of compassion and empathy shown to us in our sweet dogs last moments will never be forgotten. They explained everything to us and what was going to happen as she was put to sleep. The staff cared, you could see it and feel it. We are so grateful for them. I highly recommend them for your pets end of life needs. You won’t regret it. We left knowing they did everything they could and she didn’t suffer. Thank you Tomas, Calen, Dr. Joel Farnsworth and the receptionist (I didn’t catch her name). May all the animals passed look down and know you’re the good ones. Rest Easy T

Faith E was my sweet boy and we lived an incredible 17 years of life together. Sadly his body couldn't keep up with his larger than life spirit anymore. I miss him very much.

Lacy Kay Ward

I had to take my baby boy in for an emergency. He had a ruptured tumor. They took him in right away and each and every one of the staff was extremely patient and compassionate. I ended up losing him but I'm glad I took him here ❤️

I cannot recommend them enough. Our beloved pup got really sick out of nowhere and Animal Emergency Center was recommended to us by our vet. We took her over there and were instantly taken care of. She was there for 4 days and all of the staff were so kind to our whole family. They gave us regular updates and anytime I would call they were happy to let us know how she was doing. She was in isolation with pneumonia but anytime we wanted to see her they would allow us to gown up and go back to see her. Both Dr. Schlaich and Dr. O’Dea were so helpful and walked us through the entire process. They were realistic about the diagnosis but could also tell when we needed a bit of hope. Perfect bedside manners. You can also tell how much everyone there wants to help all the sick animals. Unfortunately, we had to put her down (not any fault to the vets) but Dr. Schlaich and the entire staff were so kind and warm and helped put us at ease when making that horrible decision. If I ever have a sick pet again, I am immediately going here. Thank you to everyone at Animal Emergency Center for all of your love and attention you gave Biscuit.

Visiting from Texas and our beloved family pet got real sick and we had to let him go. The staff were AWESOME. They showed the utmost compassion and treated him with love and respect. We were able to spend as much time with him as needed and were never rushed. This clinic is highly recommended.

Had to put my old man down here. It was a bittersweet moment. He was gone, but he didn’t have to suffer anymore. The staff did an excellent job with every aspect during my visit from initial entry, medical diagnostic, consultation, euthanasia, and clean up. A cremation service was offered, and a memorial package was supplied within a week. Thanks for everything.
