The staff is amazing! Every interaction we were treated well, they were knowledgeable and gave our baby Ziggy lots of love while he was in the hospital for a few days. The drs were amazing and literally saved our babies life, the front desk staff was so kind and helpful and a special thank you to the overnight care staff for showering our baby with lots of love and sending me pictures! You can really tell they care. And the communication was often and thorough, and really helped ease our minds.I can’t recommend them more and if I could take my animals there for regular care I would!

I brought in a foster kitten because she had stopped eating. I was WORRIED. She was not herself and I felt she needed attention. A tech did come out and look at our little foster but indicated nothing life threatening. So there was no need to see a doctor. A few days later, it turns out our little foster had tested positive for Feline Panleukopenia. I don’t know if our little foster could’ve been saved by then but it just bothered me that I went to the experts yet didn’t get the help we needed.

I wish I could rate them a 0 this time. I feel they don't deserve a 1. We brought our dog, Kachina, to Animal ER after our vet had her staff call ahead notifying them that we would be bringing our sick dog there. She was supposed to be put on IV fluids immediately. Instead, they gave her fentanyl. When we dropped her off, we told them NO FENTANYL. That she had died on fentanyl. We told them not to put her on fentanyl. Our vet, who had been treating Kachina for over 10 years, said no fentanyl, Kachina's paperwork from our vet's office said no fentanyl. Later, they injected her with something to back out the fentanyl. Charged us for both medications even though we told them NOT TO GIVE HER FENTANYL. Kachina seemed to spiral down and never recovered. She passed away 31 Aug 2024.

Part of our vet's email stating she was responding to treatment:

"Liver is Better
So there were 4 liver values that were elevated: ALT, bilirubin, ALP, and GGT.

All 4 have improved in less than 24 hours. So we should stay the course for now...For the moment she is improving and moving in the right direction."

The only reason we took Kachina to the Animal ER is because our vet was short staffed that day and couldn't give her the full attention she needed.

The owner of Animal ER said they take reviews seriously. She asked me to contact Kayla, which I emailed a week ago and have heard nothing from Kayla. So how serious do they take bad reviews? On 21 Sep 2024 Kayla finally reached out to my husband.

Overall THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE TO LEAVE OUR SICK CAT! We were a bundle of nerves , but the front desk kept us calm and welcome. The staff was very lovely and professional Oh from the moment we walked in the beautiful soul with short colored hair immediately made us comfortable and welcomed us. She works at desk closet to wall. Everyone was amazing, explaining everything and kept us all calm. By time we had to leave our Mindy, we were confident, especially after meeting Vet that Mindy was at the right place to be cared for. Mindy was quite sick . Sent us home a healthy CLEAN cat. I've been to other ER and the condition not always right. This ER did Mindy right!!!

The 1st picture shows how congested her nose was. Also Mindy loves steam baths! Her daddy loves her very much as I do! Look how gorgeous she looks now.

Great staff from the time I walked in until I had walked out. They gave great care to my dog, Maggie. The entire staff that I had interacted with that day. Everything!! Down to mopping up the few messes she had made.

There is a reason why I keep choosing this practice for my fur babies care. My oldest dog had some post-op complications and they not only corrected the issue but gave us excellent customer care. They kept him pain free and comforted for the entire visit, even before the actual treatment. One thing I love is that they discuss service prices before they start any procedures on the pet. In some case, they can assist with referrals to other facilities if finances are an issue. They are considerate and attentive with both the patient and the pet parents. Only suggestion is to have a better turnover information wise with the night crew. I have excellent feedback with the day crew on 10/15 but when I return to pick up my pet, had an uncomfortable experience.

This place is one of the worst places for getting your dog seen for an emergency. We waited for 6 hours yesterday evening to be told that that they did not know when they were going to see my dog because he was not identified as critical status , and provided us with options to go to another clinic after waiting all that time. In addition, we were also told after that time that a dog just went into surgery, and if another animal came in that was in critical status, that would further delay my dog being seen. This was terrible service and such a disservice to wait all that time with no resolution. There should be a better system in place to notify people after an 1-2 hours that they are unable to provide a service instead of informing people after 6 hours. The website indicates a number of doctors working but none could help my dog. This is not a good look for quality care. I'm also going to contact the Better Business Bureau and see how I can report this. Thanks for nothing.
