Great clinic! I had my first appointment with Quill here the other day. They were very kind, professional, and detailed. The doctor and vet tech explained what they were doing every step of the way, thoroughly answered my questions, and even shared photos to explain her condition. They handled Quill with patience and professionalism. The clinic itself is very clean and comfortable offering a basket of toys, treats, and even a fancy water fountain for their patients. Regarding the price - it is high but I feel it is completely worth it considering all of the tests they do and the exam fee included + you're being seen by a specialist who is an expert in their field. The initial cost is expensive but keep in mind it covers base level tests. Overall, this clinic is very nice. I'd recommend it to anyone looking and plan to be back in the future. Thank you Animal Eye Clinic!

As a veterinary professional with over 13 years of experience, I rarely get the chance to step into the role of a client. Today, I had that opportunity at Animal Eye Clinic, and I couldn’t be more impressed.

Dr. Davis provided an exceptional experience—she was thorough, knowledgeable, and incredibly compassionate while examining my sweet kitten, Baxter. Our technician, Celina, was equally wonderful, handling him with such kindness and care.

The clinic itself is absolutely stunning, having recently moved to a new location. It feels more like a warm, welcoming home than a medical facility, making the visit even more comforting.

We are truly fortunate to have such an outstanding specialty clinic in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend Animal Eye Clinic to anyone in need of expert ophthalmic care for their pets. Thank you for a fantastic experience—I look forward to continuing to refer my own clients and patients, as well as bringing my own pets here whenever needed.

Our dog had been having eye issues and was treated by our local vet. The local vet did give two recommendations, but leaned heavier on the referral to an eye specialist. We initially did not go that route. We woke up the morning of our regular check-up and Hanks eye was closed and watering. Our check-up was in less than an hour at our regular vet August 30th. We went to that appointment and the Dr strongly recommended an eye specialist, continue to treat with medication or put him down. We took the recommendation this time and our vet got us in to be seen at Animal Eye Clinic the same day. We made the 2 hour drive and were greeted promptly, and they ran on time! For being a specialist I expected a long wait. What we thought may have been a treated issue turned out not to be the best option. Hank is an 18 year old Pappilion with a heart murmur, history of seizures, and he had to go through emergency revival on a previous hernia surgery. We did not want him to go through that again. He is not really a candidate for long surgeries. The staff and Dr explained the process of an eye removal and this it is minutes long and they will start to wake him up as the closing is happening. Hank was in incredible pain from his eye issue. It was to the point of we either try the surgery of eye removal or put him down. The staff performed the surgery and 2 weeks later he is doing great! He has gained some weight back, we assumed his weight loss was because he is an elderly dog.

When having to make a difficult decision of medical treatment the staff here was straight forward and honest. Some may not like how straight forward they are, but there leaves no interpretation of the procedure or expected outcomes. The next vet follow up I will inform them that AEC was a great recommendation. Thank you for treating Hank.

I actually really liked the vet and she helped my guy a lot. I was just a little disappointed when I had a family matter come up on a Saturday that was going to cause me to have to reschedule my Monday appointment and they weren’t open for me to cancel 24-hours prior so I was told I’d be charged an exam fee ($135) and cancellation fee ($35) when I called Monday to reschedule because it wasn’t a 24-hour notice I guess? Moral of this story… don’t schedule Monday appointments here 🙂

The clinic’s staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They were very kind to both of my Dogs. I’m confident that my dog’s eye surgery is going to go extremely well.
Dr. Davis answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. Her clinic is beautiful, and very clean.

We have had several difficult cases that needed Dr. Davis' expertise, and she is amazing! Most recently, our kitten, Harrison, had an unusual bacterial infection in his eye that was resistant to treatment. Dr. Davis went above and beyond to diagnose and provide the right care to save his eye. We are so grateful for her kindness and highly recommend! Harrison is on the road to complete recovery thanks to Dr. Davis and her wonderful staff at Animal Eye Clinic.

Some years ago we adopted a rescue cat, Lily. She came to us with drainage from both of her eyes. The rescue told us that Lily had been found with a broken jaw that had been surgically repaired. The surgeon told the rescue that the eye problem was due to the surgery not yet being completely healed, and her eyes would soon clean up.
Her eyes did not get better so we took Lily to our regular vet and told her of the jaw injury. She concluded that the jaw could not be the cause of Lily's problem and sent us to Dr. Davis.
When we first saw Dr. Davis we asked her about Lily's jaw, and she was very dismissive. She prescribed an oral medication that had to be compounded in Florida and mailed to us. We returned for our second visit with no real improvement in Lily's eyes.
Fast forward to our first visit with a new vet just a few weeks ago. She was clearly concerned about Lily and showed up photos she took of Lily's mouth. The metal plate and jaw bone were clearly visible as the surgery had never healed. The area was filled with infection. The new vet dosed Lily with a strong antibiotic and helped us to quickly get into an oral surgery.
Both the oral surgeon and new vet believe that this has always been the root cause of Lily's eye issues. She has now had extensive surgery. Both her jaw and eyes are now healing nicely.
It devastates me that Lily suffered so long because nobody would listen to us. I admit that Dr. Davis wasn't the only one who missed this. However, I've never forgotten how dismissive she was when we asked if the eye problem could be related to the jaw.

We feel so blessed to have our beloved PuggsLee to be on the mend from his eye defect. The surgical process was clearly explained, and we were completely at ease with the outstanding care he received. This clinic is impressive in every way possible!
