Great place to take your pet. I have been here a few times for my dog and it has always gone well. Today I took my dog in because he got into a bunch of raisins (which are very toxic to dogs). The lady at the front desk was very helpful on the phone and I headed there right away. The vet tech and vet were also very helpful and they were able to make my dog puke up around 30 raisins. Thank you for saving Hank!

I am a long time client of AHS and all the employees were amazing again this time when we needed them. Our Pug got very sick and ultimately, we had to put him to sleep. My husband and I cannot be more grateful for how everyone there cared for him, from the front desk to the Vet Techs to both Dr. Erb and Dr. Forrest. They went above and beyond when it came time to say goodbye. They were knowledgeable, kind , honest and compassionate to us and our pet. We are thankful for all of them.

Yesterday I had to put my beautiful baby Bailey to sleep. We called the vet we have been taking her to for the past 8 years (she was only 8). They said their next appointment was in a week or we could come in and wait for who knows how long for something to open up. We couldn't do that to ourselves or our dog. They had no compassion or sympathy for us whatsoever. So, my husband called Animal Health Services of Cave Creek. They said they could fit us in right away. They had never seen us before, yet they were so caring and compassionate as I cried my eyes out. It was not easy making the decision to end our dog's life... Dr. Smith assured us we were not bad parents, and we were doing the right thing. I want to say thank you to Dr. Smith and Tamie at Animal Health Services of Cave Creek for treating us with such kindness and compassion. I will never again go back to our old vet.

This was my second time visiting. They were able to quickly get my dog in to be seen within 30 minutes of calling them. I was concerned since he was in pain, he might be reactive. The team assured me they would work at his pace and ensure he was comfortable throughout the appointment. Before performing any services, they gave me a cost breakdown and the reasons for each line item. This was appreciated, so I didn't have any unexpected costs or questions as I was trying to check out with an injured pup.
During the whole visit, all employees were nice to me and my dog. I also received a follow-up call the next day, and Dr. Forrest called me back personally to answer a few questions I had. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my dog here for future visits.

My dog Dahlia is my pride and joy. In October of 2020 we almost lost her to IMT. The care here was excellent and they're incredible responsive and communicative. I've stayed here ever since. Her original vet that was here has since left but their remaining vets are good too.

My cat had been lost for months before we finally found her. Of course, she was terrified, and she bit me while I was pulling her out of some bushes. Took her to AHS, and when I mentioned the bite, they were taking steps to confiscate the poor cat. For rabies. Seiously? I left in haste before they could do so.

The bill was a little under $250. Fine. I thought I had paid it. But did they give me a reminder call when I didn't? No. They sent me to collections, which is where I found out I hadn't paid.

They could have simply called. Why send someone to collections without even trying to call them?

There are so many other good vets in the area, I really can't recommend this one.

I found AHS under unfortunate circumstances where I came home and our dog Jerry was very lethargic and could barely move. Dr. Erb and all the folks at AHS were very helpful and caring with diagnosing him (likely a tumor in his spleen with internal bleeding), discussing options, getting Jerry’s BP up so he was more alert so we could say goodbye. We’re grateful for a same day appointment in a couple of hours after calling 3 other vets in the area that were booked up. Care, candor, and compassion… thank you AHS.
