All 4 of my personal pack and even a foster puppy and a petsitting client in the past get the absolute best care from the staff at Animal Medical Care! When we moved from Winder to Lula a few years ago we had trouble even finding a vet in the area accepting new clients. We really are blessed to have Dr. Weaver and Dr. Anderson taking such time, care and attention with our furry family members. We are so grateful to have found them and will continue to recommend Animal Medical Care to anyone in need of vet services in the area because they are the best!!!! We usually have a good experience with this place , but after yesterday, I am very disappointed. Earlier in the year , we called about my dog Rosie, she was having bad allergies and we asked if we could have medication for her . They quoted us $250 and we decided not to purchase the medication as it was out of our budget . Yesterday we received an invoice saying we owed that $250 and that we picked up the medication . We never once picked up that medication. When my mother called to discuss this with the receptionist who I believe went by Victoria , she had an attitude with us and made it seem like we were lying to her when we clearly did not pick up this medication. While I am happy they dropped the charge since we didn’t get the medication, I do not appreciate the receptionist’s attitude towards us and we won’t be returning.

We came in with 5 mo old golden doodle puppy who suffered from ear infections and very protected of his ears. This was his first mini groom and we’ve never left him so we were all pretty nervous. The staff was kind and understanding and took great care of Ringo. The groomer called and let us know he was great and she was able to establish some trust with him which I’m so grateful for. This type of compassion and kindness is what anyone would want when leaving their furry little friends anywhere. Highly recommend Animal Medical for all your grooming needs.

I've been using Animal Medical Care for many years now and am so excited for the new doctors that have taken on the practice. Rachel Weaver has now seen all my dogs but one and she is so great with them. Her hands-on approach and gift of gab have endeared her to me. I was very worried as Denise Funk had been with me for over 20 years - Rachel has stepped in beautifully and gave me peace.

I have been a very long-time client of this hospital until now. Since they have turned into corporate, they don't care for the pets like they used to. They care more about getting paid. I had recently gone into their with one of my cats she had an abscess on her face and found out Dr. Potter had retired, and I saw this, Dr. Mann, for which I was not satisfied with. He took my cat to the back and said he drained it and put her on an antibiotic and sent me on my way it still was large. So after about a month, I tried getting back in, and they were full, and so I went to another Animal Hospital, and they drained it as well. Well after another month I went back to Animal Medical Center and I had asked him why didn't they put a drain plug in and he took her to the back and had to sedate her to put a plug in and when they came back out she had a huge hole under her neck which was bleeding and I asked him was he not going to close that or least bandage it and he said no he wanted it to stay open that it would close on its own. She's was bleeding everywhere, and I had to keep wiping it up. So then I made another appt with Dr. Funk, and she told me it was a Mass but was not sure if it was cancerous. They never did a biopsy on her to see if it was cancer. So she planned for her to have surgery the next day they brought me an estimate on what it would be. I told Dr. Funk I did not have it at the time. If she could work with me on payments, she told me she no longer owns the practice that it was Corporate now. So she sent in this girl first me to sign Surgery paper's and the Estimate. I tried to get approved with Care Credit and was not approved. So I told them I would have my daughter to apply and would get back with them the next day. So my Daughter applied and got approved with what they told me I needed and I called them and spoke to that same girl and she told me that now I need to also pay my Balance from Before as well before they could do the Surgery which I had already made a payment plan on that one . So I had to go to another animal hospital to see what they could do. Andrey suggested that I just put her down and I had no choice but to do that. So if you have a serious issue with your pet, don't come here.

Dr. Ingles was wonderful with Bella. She spent time answering questions and explained in detail what she was doing. We felt very comfortable with her. We really liked her!!
