My dog was having trouble breathing, was lethargic, and wouldn’t eat or drink. I took her in last night (11/13/24) and they ran tests on her. For the full work up for what they were thinking, it was going to be a little over $1,200. Pet care is expensive, they didn’t just throw up prices I couldn’t afford, they were very transparent. Obviously, very few people have that much money laying around, so they worked with me in stages. Ran a couple of tests to rule out one thing, then moved on to the next stage, always telling me the cost I was looking at for each stage.

After the second round of tests, it was discovered my baby girl had a sac around her heart and had an aggressive form of cancer. Full treatment would cost around $8k and would probably have only prolonged the inevitable for a month. The decision was made to say goodbye. They walked me through what was going to happen, and gave me ample time to spend with her before it was time. They again walked me through what was going to happen, and after a few minutes, she was peacefully over the rainbow bridge. They allowed me all the time I needed after, cut off some of her hair for me, and were very supportive throughout the entire evening.

Having to make that decision is one of the hardest one will ever make. The doctors and staff here were caring, kind, and so compassionate. I’m truly grateful for their services. My beautiful baby was treated so well and I’m so very thankful to the staff.

We had to bring our little dog Lady in after she was attacked by 2 dogs. Everyone we interacted with was great. They took care of her, answered all our questions, and helped us stay calm during a scary time.

We didn't know about this place until this visit so I'm glad to know we have the option in Bentonville. This will be the first place I think of in any future emergency situations.

I have a black lab that thinks he is invincible. He frequently gets into mischief whenever possible. Last winter, he decided to eat rat poison out of my neighbors garage. This past summer, he got tapeworm. My dog is also allergic to grass, tree pollen and pretty much everything outside so he is constantly is burdened with skin issues and infections.

I have gone to Animal Urgent Care for all my urgent treatments and cannot say more positive things about the care and staff. Not only have they been reasonable and supportive for every incident, I can see they are passionate about helping animals and providing truly good vet care.

My rambunctious pup has somehow made it to ten years old and I’ve had many unexpected trips to urgent care. AUC is by far the best vet provider I have been to. Not only do I trust my pet’s care to AUC, but I trust them to care for my friend’s pets that I have referred AUC’s services to.

I recently had to bring my Shiba Inu,
Shiba, to AUC due to an urgent issue with her eye. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly responsive, understanding the seriousness of the situation and acting quickly to ensure she was properly treated.

Dr. B something (I believe)and the team demonstrated both professionalism and compassion. They swiftly diagnosed the injury and provided a clear treatment plan, explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Their prompt attention and thorough care made a stressful situation much easier to handle. The snacks offered were a plus too.

The clinic is clean, modern, and well-equipped, which gave me confidence that Shibias was in good hands. What really impressed me was the follow-up care—Dr. personally called to check on Shibias a few days after our visit, which truly exceeded my expectations. I was unable to pick up, but the voicemail was thoughtful and friendly!

I highly recommend this Urgent Animal Care Veterinarian to anyone in need of a reliable, compassionate, and skilled veterinary team. Shibias and I are grateful for the exceptional care we received during a critical time.

Had to bring my baby here for wound care. I have nothing but nice things to say about my experience! I was greeted and helped immediately. The ladies at the front desk were fast and incredibly professional. They saw that my dog was in bad shape and took him to the back before I had even finished checking in. They immediately advocated for him to have pain medication, which helped me feel that they had his best interest at heart. Everyone that worked on my dog's case was so professional. They worked with me on what I could afford and had different payment options posted in the exam rooms for easy sign up. The doctor explained every decision she made to me and made sure I understood what my dog needed. To the tech that sat with me and made sure that I was okay too, I can't thank you enough?

Brought my pup in because she got into something and started having some bad stomach issues that required some immediate attention. Dr. Roderick and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The total visit including radiography and a couple of diagnostic tests took 2 hours - quite a bit faster than I’ve experienced at the full animal ER branch in Springdale so that was a great surprise. It’s expensive but not anymore expensive than any other urgent care/ER animal hospital I’ve been to. Having this branch in Bentonville for smaller but still urgent issues is such a relief.

We had to take one of our pups to AUC yesterday afternoon for what turned out to be pneumonia. They were quick to see him, all the staff were very kind, they listened to us and our concerns and explained treatment and answered all questions without us feeling like we were being rushed, and the facility was clean. Thank you for caring for our River boy.

They were quick to help after my cat had scratched my dog's eyeball on a saturday. They were calm and confident even when my girl got a bit aggressive. Despite that, she came out happy and wagging when they finished assessing her injury! They gave us the medication she'd need, emailed a referral for our regular vet, and were very informative. They even called the next day to check on her! Very grateful to the staff and am glad they were available to help us. I recommend them highly and we would definitely choose them again!
