WOW! This place is fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely heard and cared for. I had previously gone to another vet, where I was left feeling unheard, and they didn’t even inform me that test results would take 7 to 10 business days until after I’d left with the receipt. My kitty was acting funny, and I didn’t want to wait that long for answers or risk delaying any necessary treatment.

Dr. Helmer was incredible—she took the time to explain her thoughts on what might be causing the issue and the steps we could take. Her approach was so gentle and caring with my cat, and her expertise was clear. You can tell this team is passionate about animals and that it’s truly about helping pets, not just about profit. Wendy was also amazing, going over all costs and details thoroughly and transparently.

My kitty has a concerning bump on her neck, and while we don’t have all the answers yet, I feel confident knowing the steps we need to take. I’m so grateful to have found this urgent care and highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, expert care for their pets!

I had to put my dog down here while I was on a cross country trip to a new home and they treated me with such kindness and care during a very sad and stressful time. They even gave me her fur shavings the same day cause I wouldn't be able to come back. Today about a week and a half after it happened I received this card in the mail from them and I can say with certainty I have never received such care and thoughtfulness from a vet... I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone with any sort of emergency with their beloved pets they will go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need and then some.

Took my dog in after he got into a fight with a house mate. First time in and they made the experience a lot less stressful. Friendly staff, got me check in fast and easy, and took good care of my boy. Pricing was a bit less than I expected, and they were great at explaining treatment. I would definitely recommend this place for those unexpected accidents with your fur babies (:

Yesterday I had to bring my dog into the urgent care for help with massive bleeding from his nose after a dental fistula surgery at another veterinary clinic. It was a scary situation by the time I got him there, he was choking on his own blood. I came rushing in the door with blood everywhere and they were so wonderful! They were compassionate, concerned, and very informative. I was so impressed with the entire staff. They were all so caring! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help in a scary situation with a pet! The costs were very reasonable! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!! Thank you so much!!!!

This past weekend was my first visit here, I took my 1yr old golden retriever who was experiencing vomiting and diarrhea (which eventually became bloody & was why I immediately took her in). They took great care of her and were extremely reassuring throughout the whole scary process of seeing my fur baby sick. I had to leave her overnight to be hospitalized and they kept me informed of her progress throughout the 24hrs she was there. Even after I picked her up, I had some concerns a few days later and I called them for some insight on whether to wait it out or take her in and talking to them put me right at ease.
I hope I don’t need to use an UC/ER for my little Luna again but she was in good hands and I’ll recommend them to my friends/family if they have sick pups.

AUC gave our 6-mo pup Max a chance to life after getting a hold of a dead bat which tested positive for rabies. No other place (besides CSU) was willing to take him in for a 3-month quarantine.

We just got him back in great spirit. The staff took great care of him, and sent daily updates and pictures throughout the quarantine with the same level of sympathy the entire time. They played with him, and took care of him like their own. He grew considerably (from 18 to 36 lbs) and continues to show his loving and curious character which we couldn't ask for more. Thank you AUC!

We got your guys letter today with it signed by each of you and I just wanted to say that it was really nice and we definitely cried reading it. Also thank you dr.
