I’ve been bringing my babies here since 2018 and highly recommend them. I have many rescues so have had many different medical situations and they have worked with me to figure them out. The receptionists are very helpful and patient and Dr. Dawson ( please don’t retire) is my go to whenever possible but on occasion have worked with other veterinarians and they have been great. The staff is always friendly and patient even when I’m not and thank you Amanda for calling today to check on Grace you have definitely gone the extra mile for us 💙

The price keeps rising and my dog has to go there a few times a year. It’s a controlled substance so it’s got to be watched closely. But other than the price I don’t have a problem with them. I have been going there with my animals since 2012 and love it there. It’s a great place to go and they know there stuff about animals. The only problem I have with them is they keep going up on prices and pretty soon people on a fixed income can’t afford it.

Great people and service. Took us in because of a cancellation at the last minute and still saw us after we were late after going to the wrong place. The price didn’t break the wallet either. Thanks for taking care of us.

All the ladies were amazing! From the time we checked in to the service provided in the room. They were very kind to my baby that wasn’t feeling well. Lynn Straka (Vet) was super friendly and did an awesome job! I will be bringing my other 4 dogs to Appalachian Veterinary Clinic.
Oh and it was super nice talking to the vet tech from my home place in Florida!! Very sweet girl!

This veterinary clinic is great. They seem to really care about what is best for your pet. Our puppy loves her doctor. Their fees are reasonable, the clinic is clean, and all the staff is caring. I would give it a 5 star plus but can't because of how difficult it is to reach them by phone.

Recently our 10 month old pit caught Parvo! It was so scarey, she wouldn't eat or drink and kept getting sick! She was no better on day 4, so we took her to the vet, I didn't have much money, so they did everything they could for my dog on my budget. They wrote her 2 prescriptions and gave her fluids, and sent us home. They told us she'd get worse before better, and it would last about 10 days. She did amazingly! She started acting better the next day!! Shysti has since made a full recovery, and she has gained her weight back. Thankful for this vets office!!
