Horrible - puppy vomiting and other problems 5 days and called on a Tuesday, they would not see me told me to 1. take to emergency 2. wait until available appt on Thursday or find another vet.
2 visit - weeks later - puppy still having issues call give me 10:30 appt same day and then at 10:17 they call to say I missed appt and it was for 10:00 I told them no I repeated it to her told me I would have to wait if I came in. Came in waited 1 hour went out to desk and asked for a time frame - came in 2 more hours. Nope I left and will never return. Went back to Care Animal Hospital where I should have gone in the 1st place. They are relentless about storing your credit card info and I will not allow - they are very unhappy about that also 1st visit you need to give $100 deposit and it will come off bil after visit but they charge immediately. DO NOT TRUST YOUR ANIMALS WITH THIS FACILITY.

My dogs nail was cracked where it meets his paw and was bleeding alot. I took him in at roughly 4 30 pm and they turned us away saying they already had 2 walk ins that day. They didn't care that he was bleeding, they wouldn't help him. A vet cared more about how many walk ins they had than an injured bleeding dog.

Dr. Clow and the team at AHAH are amazing! They answered all of our questions (and believe me, there were a ton!) and took such good care of Oliver during his checkup. I highly recommend them!

I have been taking my Parrot Harley to Dr Scott McDonald for many years (Harley is 35 years old).
I followed Dr Scott M wherever he would see all different types of birds big or small forever.
I live 48 miles round trip from the Arlington Heights location where Dr Scott M works from now.

We bought two new iPhone 16’s. Ruben helped us out with a quick and painless experience. Would definitely recommend going to this store. Ask for Ruben!

Find any other place, even if farther away. We had 3 large dogs and 3 cats with AHAH. They tack on undiscussed boarding fees - they require you to have a card on file before you take your pet there - once they charge you the charges are not discussed and higher than advertised - even called for help with a double charge with the boarding manager. We arrived to pick up our pets and they took 20 mins to get them - this was 20 mins past the pickup time, so we had to pay for an entire day for all three dogs! Our annual dog visit is about $1.7k with flea and heart worm and they still treated us like our business did not matter.

This is an excellent facility with outstanding Veterinarians and Office Staff. I've been brining my dogs here for the past 22 years. Each vet is compassionate, attentive, thorough, professional and accurate in treating my German Shepherd Dog and before she died, my Golden Retriever as well. I trust the AHAH vets and the staff. Covid -19 has changed business practices for the entire country and animal care is impacted like everybody else. It is irresponsible to hold a vet office accountable for Covid 19 government imposed cautions and restrictions. I very much appreciate the cautious approach that AHAH has taken to keep me and themselves save during this unprecedented time.

I will NO LONGER Be Using Arlington Heights Animal Hospital.

This review is of my personal experience with them and have nothing personal against any person there.

I believe the only individuals that are going to benefit are the owners themselves from this honest and factual review!

Dr. Kuhle (female) and Dr. Flaska (male) are the owners of this facility and hope that my review helps there business in the future.

I had a phone call conversation about this issue with Dr. Flaska and stated the same to him that hopefully he and his practice will benefit from this review.

I now wish to share my experience with animals, animal records, animal husbandry by owning, loving and taking care of 121 animals on a farm that was inspected and regulated by the USDA.

I had to have all my animal records in order at all times or then the USDA inspector will fine you and penalize you by suspending your USDA License.

We were inspected at random, making sure the animals were taken care of and that the animal records were up to par.

My girlfriend and I brought our dogs in for shots and even paid for an additional test for my dog.

Well 3 months later I never received a phone call, email or text stating if the test results were positive or negative. Dr. Flaska stated in our phone conversation that they only notify if need be.

If I was told that where in fact I DO HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMMORY FROM A CHILD....I kid you Not! - That would be one less error that they would have done with my last experience.

The second serious error is crossing off my name on a legally signed document with my signature on it and placing it in another persons name.

Now on my last visit before my eyes my name was crossed off on a legally signed document that states ownership of my dog and that just floored me and is in fact illegal.

As I stated to Dr. Flaska I can prove with an email sent to their office that I have corrected that issue with their office of their wrong data documentation in which I thought was corrected but apparently not. (very unorganized office).

I stated to Dr. Flaska of how long I waited in the reception area that evening to clear up this mess that should of been corrected 2 years ago.

I have delivered alive and deceased baby goats, sheep, ponies and even a baby camel where my Shawna aborted her first calf.

All animals needed to be documented with the USDA, every animal deceased or alive had to be documented correctly.

The back end of this operation the Vets - Doctors are not in perfect communication with the front, "It's a Circus Over There"

I have taken my dogs records and found another Vet, we have talked to them and they state that they always call the animal owners and give them the results either way!

I ask this facility to not even reply and give me a lame excuse like Dr. Flaska tried to cover up in our phone call conversation.

This is a waste of my time and your office only benefits as stated above.

I do not appreciate your unprofessional and unorganized "Arlington Heights Animal Hospital" to say the least.
