Aurora was recommended to us by a close family friend, and our experience so far has been amazing. I have a reactive rescue dog - the staff at Aurora Vet have always been calm, kind & understanding. Dr. Newton is the absolute best. I drive from just under an hour away to bring my dog there for care because they are that good.

They got me in right away as Sugar had an ear infection and also did her yearly exam. Dr B is great. He takes the time to talk with you and explain things to you. I have going there more than 30 years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I have recommended them to family members and friends and everyone has been happy with them. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Sugar says thank you.

I have been a client here for many years, including during the pandemic.Their doctors are fantastic, and so if the front desk help. The clinic is always clean. I especially like that the vets really listen to me, and involve me with care decisions.

When it came time for my dogs and cats to get immunizations, they explained the importance of each one and were very flexible with me about not having all of them and spacing them out rather than doing them all in one visit.

I also appreciate that they give senior citizens a 10% discount.

I brought Chewy in and Dr. Bernstein was kind and gentle with him. Chewy was diagnosed with a yeast infection in his left ear. Dr. Bernstein prescribed medication, instructions, and sent us on our way. The whole thing lasted 30 minutes!

I was extremely happy with the gentle and loving way they took care of our cat. We had him neutered and the vet was very flexible to accommodate my schedule and they made this so easy. Highly recommend!

This is a good vet. Very friendly and competent doctors. However, they are changing. I was very disappointed when they refused to work with Chewy to fill my pup's prescription. Basically, they don't verify their own prescription over the phone anymore. They want me to send a physical copy of the prescription to Chewy! I have never had any other vet do this (too boost their own sales). Kind of disappointing.
