I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and Dr. Rantala. Our beloved dog, Jaeger, was experiencing a lot of vomiting, weakness, and not eating or drinking. We took him to our local vet twice, and each time he was misdiagnosed after exam and x-rays, causing him to take medications that not only didn’t help him, but was actually causing him more harm. My husband rushed him here as a last hope, and Dr. Rantala found his intestinal blockage and immediately scheduled his surgery that same morning. He was recovering amazingly and we were over-the-moon pleased. Tonight, 4 days post-op, we noticed he was no longer acting himself, and were seeing signs that gave us immediate red flags. We called Dr. Rantala after hours and she rushed to meet us on our call to examine him. She ran lots of tests and made sure he was squared away. She urged us to call at anytime if we notice any negative changes. I have never seen such incredible care, compassion, and professionalism from any veterinarian I have experienced. We will never take him anywhere else now. I strongly recommend anyone who loves their pets as much as we love ours to visit here. I am elated and grateful for Dr. Rantala and her staff for giving our boy the best care imaginable.

Bannock Animal Medical Center remains a place of security for the animals being treated and the animal owners. It is ran with friendly front people and very knowledgeable professionals . Thank you all for the outstanding care you provided Lilly...and thank you for being so kind and supportive for Lillys 10yr old owner. My pets and I have been well taken care of here at every visit. Staff is kind and helpful and the vet listens to all my concerns. They've been sympathetic through me losing my old Nala and patient with my very anxious dog.
They do great work and I am so grateful for all they do! ‍⬛?

My little dog's life was slipping away over the course of a weekend despite the best I could do, & I wasn't ready to lose her! We brought her in on a Monday in a *terrible* condition & left her in the care of these excellent professionals for intensive care.

They saved her life steadily, patiently, [economically], & without giving false hope. Techs called morning & evening to give updates, & never did begrudge me time for a visit to their little patient. Dr. Rantala made herself available when able, to give us updates without additional appointments. Still, I couldn't believe my eyes when Lefty came tottering over to me when we picked her up the following Friday. She'll be a special-needs dog for a while, possibly the rest of her life, but to understate: we're grateful & indebted to the kind, capable people at this hospital for every additional moment.

Very caring staff who is extremely helpful in the clinic and with questions and phone calls. They have done all the care for my dog and have been great at caring for my barn cat although we were turned away from other clinics because she's more difficult. I really appreciate that they love animals and want to help. The clinic is clean and has a pretty good set up.

I haven taken my pets here for years and am always happy with how they evaluate and treat my animals. Scheduling is easy. Pricing is reasonable. They are very accommodating and understanding of my very anxious dog. Dr. Rantala is always very nice and answers all my questions.
