I can't say enough positive things about Barnegat Animal Clinic to do it justice.
I have 3 rescue dogs, one is blind, one is hyper reactive, and one has chronic infections due to severe allergies.
Barnegat Animal Clinic has been amazing with all three of them. They schedule with ease and accommodate each pet's needs individually. Not only do they manage the logistics seamlessly, but they do it all with a smile and seem genuinely happy to help animals and their pet parents.
I'm so glad I found them and I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Doctors here are truly amazing. Having 5 dogs i got to meet pretty much all the doctors. Staff always finds a way to get my pet in. This place gets it right the first time. Very reasonable prices.

Excellent vet care. Have been a client since 2008. My Cassie has had some issues now, and has been seen and cared for by quite a few of the vets, Dr. Behan, Dr. Buck, Dr. Bain and Dr. Stashek. All have been great with her, as well as my other cat Callie, who is healthier than her sister, so she's usually just there once a year!

We asked them to put my cat down because she was so sick and in pain. Instead they decided to inject her with $400 worth of medication because she was “too healthy” to be put down. They didn’t even give her pain meds. Five days later I hold her dead in my arms covered in her own blood and urine. These people don’t care for your animals, they want money and will do anything to get a few extra dollars.

Extremely rude! Called to speak about euthanizing a dog, I previously euthanized a healthy dog at this facility that had severe aggression in 2017. When I called, I first spoke to Ashley who was very kind and informed me that the policy has changed and they now only euthanize dogs with health issues. I asked when did this policy change out of curiosity. I was put on hold and another receptionist named Crystal came on the phone with an attitude immediately. I was told by Crystal that because it has been so long since I have been to that facility that I would be considered a new client and they are not taking on new clients at this time. Then said they are booking out a few weeks. I misunderstood what she said and when I repeated it she repeated herself and then before I could apologize because I misunderstood she hung up on me. I called back a few minutes later to get her name and asked specifically who hung up on me. The women I spoke to didn’t seem to care at all that her coworker did this. I am glad they are not taking on new clients if this is how they treat people.

Dr. Behen and the staff are so good with our pets, especially our very anxious dog who needs to be sedated for appointments. She had to have surgery and he even did a house visit to remove her staples which made it so much easier for everyone. They are very responsive to questions.

We have always been happy with the care here. We’ve had several beloved pooches at all stages of their lives and a cat too and they’ve been great medically and when we’ve grieved they have been most compassionate. Grateful to have this practice for our furry loved ones.

Dr. Buck was awesome. Thorough and explains everything very well. Got my American Bully, Rex, on an antibiotic for a skin infection we could not figure out for the life of us. The Cytopoint shot did nothing for my dogs allergies so he suggested Apoquel. Within 2 days the bumps from the skin infection were going away. 2 weeks later and he’s all better. The allergy medicine turned Rex into a new dog. What I thought was a lazy bulldog breed turned out to be full of life and energy after getting figured out my Dr. Buck. Also helped with his smell and his breath smells better! Thank you everybody at Barnegat Animal Clinic!
