I procrastinated on writing this review for a couple of weeks as I hoped the Veterinarian would come to her senses. Anyway. Ok, BOOM… My 1 1/2 year old German shepherd pulled a kitten from under my apartment building and the kitten was dehydrated, INFESTED with fleas, and had cloudy eyes. We thought we were helping by attempting to wash the fleas off but that only sent the kitten into shock (lesson learned). We rushed him to the nearest vet hospital which happened to be Beach Veterinary. Upon arrival, the receptionist came out, she was pretty nice to us but seemed a little distant. We told her what happened and she took the kitten in the back so the Vet can take a look. We were asked if we were staying until the Vet was done with the kitten and we decided to stay. We told them how we found the kitten and NO he wasn’t ours. The vet got majority of the fleas off, gave him IV fluids and informed us to wait until the next day to see if he wakes up and moves around. The vet said she couldn’t tell if he was a boy or girl and she acted as if she really didn’t want to help at first… we brushed that off. After we were charged $160 or so for IV fluids and for her soaking a towel in flea spray and wrapping him in it. That definitely shouldn’t have coated $160 especially since it wasn’t our cat to begin with. The vet heated two IV bags, wrapped him in a blanket and gave us an unused ice bucket and told us to keep him warm overnight. OK cool. The next day the kitten is awake and moving so I tried to call the Vet not realizing it was a Saturday and they were closed. Maybe an hour later the vet is calling back and tells us she came in to feed the cats and to see how the kitten is. We informed her that he was now awake and moving a little bit but his eyes were cloudy and could we use eyedrops to flush his eyes out… She said yes we could be she would rather give us antibiotics for his eyes and continue to keep him warm. She said she would leave it outside by the back door as she wouldn’t be at the office but for a little while. I said OK thank you. Never once did she mention payment, the cost of the medication or anything. I went to pick up the meds thinking she was just being kind. This is Saturday. I think they are closed on Monday… not sure. However, Tuesday rolls around and the receptionist calls asking for $44 for the ointment and I informed her that if I was aware on Saturday I would have paid that day but Tuesday I didn’t have it as I went to go buy things for the kitten like goat milk the vet recommended, a bottle to feed and a litter box etc. We figured God placed the kitten with us for a reason… see pics for the rest.

Dr. Ina and her staff are the best in town. They legitimately care about your pet, I’ve seen dozens of vets over the lifetime of my dogs and Ina is the only vet I have trusted. She’s saved my stinky dog’s life and I’m forever grateful.

I do find it humorous the folks on here that have an issue on her non GMO stance- does that make the reviewers proGMO?! How does that factor into the care of your pets?

Ina is brilliant and her staff are the sweetest around.

Honestly, the most rude vet I have ever encountered in my life. She threatened to have my dog’s head cut off (!!!) and was barking at her staff. I feel sorry for the ladies who work under that vet. Save yourself and your pet the trauma and go literally anywhere else. I wish zero stars was an option. Your pets deserve better.

I came in for flea medication, this vet threatened to cut my dog's head off. Your choice. I've filed a complaint with the state medical board. I encourage others to do the same.

WOW!!! I am sooooooooo grateful for this wonderful, caring, very skilled, insightful and knowledgeable Veterinarian * Dr Ena saved my little dog! My chihuahua was bitten badly by a Pit bull mix at a friends house and I went to some other Vet Clinics & Animal Hospitals and nothing felt right. Then, upon meeting Dr Ena she had the best solutions and suggestions and ultimate care for the well being of my dog. I felt as if I had met an animal Angel & fantastic Doctor! Her expertise is amazing, her heart huge and her prices are very reasonable...
