We love them, they treat us and our pets with kindness and patience. They are communicative and clear. Their pricing has seemed incredibly fair for all I know, and although we haved since moved a good distance away we still make the drive to this place whenever our furry friends need care.

I will start by saying Dr. Jin and his staff are amazing. I started bringing my dogs to him about 3 years ago after a terrible experience somewhere else.They’re always kind and get my boys in as soon as possible. Dr. Jin is always available when needed and actively listens to my concerns and takes feedback into consideration before providing a treatment plan. I’ve never had any inkling of anyone at this office recommending things just for the money as have other places. He truly cares about the health, wellbeing and safety of pets and does everything in his power to get them well. I trust him with my boys lives and can say he’s the best vet I’ve had in my 5 years with them. Kudos to the staff here, you all are the best and I truly appreciate your help with keeping my boys healthy!

I really love this vet practice! The vet I have seen, twice now for two of my different cats, Dr. Jin An is wonderful! He knows his stuff, is very compassionate and VERY thorough. I have had pets my entire life and have gone to multiple different vets all around the country, and I’ve never had a vet give such a thorough evaluation of the bloodwork done. Most vets never even tell you the results unless there is a major issue and I’ve always had to ask. I’m so glad to have found him and this practice!

Called and scheduled a house call with the Dr.($150 not including meds, as well as a vet tech fee) for what I assumed was an eye infection in my 3 lb Yorkie. After a brief assessment, he determined that the cause of the inflammation in the eye was due to abcessed teeth. He recommended extractions, which I was willing to consider. At the end of his visit, he asked to hold my dog again and proceeded to press on her left cheek area. She was yelping and immediately started bleeding profusely. On the initial visit, all that was prescribed was an eyedrop med. Never an oitment , cone given to avoid worsening infection of the eye inflmation..Following day antibiotics and pain meds were delivered. Next day I noticed a large open sore, wound , where the doctor pressed on her cheek area. I have made several contacts with my concerns and he continues to advise extractions are necessary. I mentioned multiple times that my concern was that she clearly has an active infection but he said the surgery could still be performed. He advised more than once to seek other vet care. I contacted the doctor today about the open wound on her face and expressed my concern, for which he advised our services are terminated..I will follow up with Sac Med Board. I am very grateful for the staff at BHAH. My dad and I found a kitten by the freeway, and after calling 10-15 animal "hospitals", this was the only vet office that would see our kitten the same day. The staff here not only saw our kitten quickly after arrival, they stayed late to perform emergency surgery on him. He is now recovering and we are so grateful.

This review is long overdue. We first took our sweet cat to Dr. An at Belmont Heights Animal Hospital in 2021 when we found a bump on her underside. Dr. An scheduled and performed a successful mastectomy on our love within the next week. Throughout the surgical process, his team was knowledgeable, compassionate, and communicative. Later, when the cancer returned, he was patient and kind when I cried in his office after receiving the news. He referred us to a local cancer center that would continue her treatment, but still continued to provide basic x-rays and specialty labs when his office had the equipment to do so.

When we adopted a second cat we knew we would take her to see Dr. An and his staff. It was no question! Like I said, the customer service is incredible and we wouldn’t dream of going to another veterinarian. We are so grateful for the Belmont Heights Animal Hospital team!

Dr. Rumm and his staff are amazing! My dogs actually love going to see Dr. Rumm, Paul, Jeannie and Kyle. They all treat my girls Leelu and Khaleesi like their own. Recently my husky Leelu had a large growth under her eyelid and required removing part of the eyelid and stitching it back together. Thank goodness the growth turned out to be benign. Dr. Rumm did an amazing job and you can't even tell she ever had surgery. Your dogs are a part of your family and I for one feel my girls receive the best care at BHAH because the doctor and his staff care about what they do. Thank you all so much for your professionalism. My girls love you all and I'm grateful for everything you do for them!
