I brought in my dog, Honey, this morning for vaccines. She can be really reactive to new people/places but the entire staff was so good with her. They took their time and were so understanding! We will definitely be back (hopefully with better behavior from Honey).

Upon arrival, you'll encounter a team that is not only highly professional but also fear free certified. This means they are trained to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in pets, which is a godsend for owners like me. Their dedication to my pet's comfort was evident from the moment we stepped in. I highly encourage everyone reading who is curious to take a tour. It is truly amazing and breathtaking.

The hospital itself is equipped with the latest medical technology, ensuring top-tier care. The veterinary team is incredibly knowledgeable, providing detailed explanations about my pet's health and treatment plan. As an anxious owner, this clarity truly eased my worries. They took their time with my sweet pup and made her more comfortable than any other vet we have ever known.

The resort side of the establishment is simply fantastic. The resort staff is exceptional, showering my dog with individual attention and care. Play spaces, comfortable suites, and even a pool are available for the pets' enjoyment equipped with pool toys! My dog loved every minute spent there. I loved the report cards i received each stay.

The Birmingham Animal Hospital Plus Resort is more than just a pet care facility, it's a sanctuary for pets and a peace of mind for owners. A five-star experience that I highly recommend to any pet owner.

We are so grateful for every single person who works here at BAHR! They have treated us with the most incredible kindness and love during our 5-month long orthopedic ordeal with our sweet Dolly. We have been given the best care from all of the techs and every single doctor, but especially Dr. Bellman and Dr. Taylor. They have been absolute lifesavers, always eager and willing to answer questions even for the smallest things. They would take pictures of the healing progress while doing Dolly’s weekly bandage changes and made us laugh and feel comfortable, even when we wanted to just cry (and even when we did just cry!!). They love our girl just as much as we do, and want the absolute best for her and that means everything to us. The techs and receptionists love Dolly and know her by name, greeting us with a big smile every time they see us. It always makes us feel welcome. On the resort side, all of the staff take great care of our girls. Giving our not medically fragile girl Mabel free rein to play hard with her friends and giving Dolly individualized care when she couldn’t participate in daycare. We will forever recommend BAHR!!

Concerned about boarding your puppy for a few days while you're on vacation? Don't be, take them here! They'll be able to run themselves silly under the supervision of an incredible and talented staff. Their indoor daycare facility is the perfect environment for your dog to play with others, and they even have a shallow pool for them to enjoy. I couldn't be happier with their service and the daily "report cards" we receive are simply hysterical. The pictures they take of my dogs tell me everything I need to know about how much of a blast they're having - I've included my absolute favorites. I can't recommend this place enough!

Super friendly and took great care in their gentleness with my Bobby. He was nervous and they did not rush our appointment! And even gave him cheese whiz! You’ve got a friend for life now!!!

The reception area is great: high ceilings, smooth concrete floors, which continue to the exam rooms, and great AC! (My husky really appreciated that) The receptionists and vet staff were so sweet and welcoming! The vet I saw was great, she was very informative and listened to any concern I had regarding my pups' health. Highly recommend!
