I adopted my cat from there not too long ago. The place look clean, and the employees look like they really care about the animals. The adoption process was pretty simple and easy. Unfortunately, I didn't get to view a lot of the place, so I can't say anything about the dog side or any other pets they may offer.

We had a very positive experience at this shelter, they were transparent about why he was at the shelter and the adoption process was smooth. We are very happy to have him as part of the family!

Both times we have adopted here has been very positive. You can tell the staff is truly invested in finding the best home for the animals in their care. They have blessed us with two of the greatest fur babies. We are so grateful for what they do.

It was a day like any other when I found myself homeless, with nothing but the clothes on my back and my faithful companions by my side. Sadie, Branson, Bently, Zeppelin, and Pistol - my dogs - were my everything. They were more than just pets; they were my family, my children, my reason for living. But then, the unimaginable happened. Bloomington animal shelter took my dogs from me. They were ripped away from my arms, my heart torn to pieces as I watched them being led away. I begged and pleaded, but it was no use. My world crumbled around me as I realized that I had lost everything that mattered to me

Life without Sadie, Branson, Bently, Zeppelin, and Pistol is a hollow existence. They were my constant companions, my source of joy and comfort in the darkest of times. They ate before I did, they slept by my side, they loved me unconditionally. Now, I am left with a void that cannot be filled, a pain that never truly goes away

Every day, I find myself longing for my dogs, wishing for their return. I miss their wagging tails, their playful barks, their warm cuddles. I love them more than anything in this world, and I will never forget the bond we shared. Sadie, Branson, Bently, Zeppelin, and Pistol - I love you and I so desperately want you to come home.

To whoever adopted my dogs, I want you to know that they were not just pets to me. They were my heart and soul, my reason for living. I hope that you are giving them the love and care that they deserve, that you are cherishing them as much as I did. Please know that my love for them knows no bounds, and I will never stop hoping for a reunion.

The pain of losing Sadie, Branson, Bently, Zeppelin, and Pistol is a constant ache in my heart. I see their faces in my dreams, hear their barks in the silence of the night. I long to hold them close, to feel their warmth against my skin. Life without them is a cruel and unbearable reality that I must face every day.

Despite the pain and heartache, I hold onto hope for a reunion with my dogs. I pray that one day, somehow, we will be together again. I will never stop searching, never stop longing for their return. Sadie, Branson, Bently, Zeppelin, and Pistol - I love you and I so desperately want you guys to come home

Yesterday I went and adopted a sweet cat. His name was Daniel, I renamed him Mango. The process was sooooo easy there. They made it fast and easy. They answered all of my questions and gave me directions on how to properly trim nails, give medicine, and more! The women who work here are so kind. I could tell they actually care for their animals and want them to have good homes. I’ll always recommend going here for fur babies! ❤️

I love the care and love all the staff and volunteers there have. I took a cat to them when a neighbor recently passed away, and they all bent over backwards to help and assured me they would do everything possible to get the cat adopted. I adopted two kittens three years ago from the shelter. I still have them and will love them forever. They're polar opposites, and don't love on each other, but they do play together. I've taught them both to play fetch. Yes, cats can be taught, and it's so much fun. I recommend anyone wanting to adopt a pet, the shelter has cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, and I'm not sure what else comes through their doors, but they are treated very well while they're there. I also donate food, toys, and whatever they need whenever I can. I hope if you're considering adopting a pet, that you adopt from this (or any) shelter. You won't regret it!

Phoebe Sue (aka Munchie) is the black and white girl, and Chloé Jean (aka Tine Tine) the tabby-calico. Both 3 years old, happy and healthy, and very well loved!

Thank you to the team and staff at the Bloomington AC&C offices! After Ares got out, they were great in finding him, taking care of him and making sure they reached out to me quickly! Really do appreciate the friendly team there and how well Ares was taken care of. A care package is on its way from Amazon to help! Thanks again!
