We are from FL and camping in the Challis and Salmon area for two weeks. One of our mini dachshunds unexpectedly ran into health issues-his back legs stopped working and he appeared to be in pain. I called the vet in Challis but they couldn’t fit him in until the next day. Not wanting him to suffer I called Blue Cross vet clinic and they were able to see him the same day at 5:00, right before close of business. Unfortunately, after examining him it was determined that he needed to be euthanized. The vet and vet tech did a great job comforting us and explaining the euthanasia process to us. We also never felt rushed even though this all happened at the end of a long day and I’m sure the staff was ready to go home. We elected to have our boy cremated and when we picked him up today he was in a beautiful solid wood box. In addition they included his paw print in clay. We also found this vet to be very affordable. Thank you, Blue Cross Vet, for being there for us and our boy. ❤️

Rene is the best vet! Our dog had lost the use of his back legs, and we had to take him to a vet in Bozeman for an MRI and possibly surgery. In order to bring him back home that same night, we had to take him straight to Rene. We didn't get back from picking him up until 11:30 PM. She was waiting for us and took him right in. In our eyes, Rene is the best.

I took my cat in for a trim, and he was terrified and traumatized when I picked him up. He has been regularly trimmed for 9 years by groomers and other vets, does not need to be sedated and is always fine. I dont know what they did to my sweet mellow boy, but it was not good. He was growling and cowering in a kennel when I got there. A real shock.

So grateful for these folks. My dog had a vestibular episode while we were traveling. I had no idea what was going on. I scooped him up and took him in and they got me in quickly and let me know what was going on. Very kind and helpful folks.

I would highly recommend Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic to any pet owner. Renee is amazing! You can see her love for animals in the care she gives. She is very knowledgeable, and I love that she is willing to be straightforward about what is best for my pets. The rest of the clinic staff is always helpful as well.

They take really good care of my puppy and kitty children. Very friendly. They also have boarding for dogs and cats and over the holidays I had to use them for my kitties and recently for my puppies. Love the people there❤

I'm very thankful for the team at Blue Cross Vet Clinic. Late in the afternoon on a Sunday, Dr. Rigglemen quickly rallied a team and did not hesitate to provide an emergency surgery effectively saving the life of a mother dog and puppies in distress. Renee quickly assessed the situation, provided options and when asked, provided her opinion and suggestions. Her experience proved to be exceptional as she spent over an hour in surgery while her team worked diligently to care for newborn pups. I'm grateful to her and her team for providing such an excellent clinic for our community. You know when you go to Blue Cross, you're being provided a great service at a more than reasonable price.
