Borealis vet clinic is just phenomenal. Our big boy Yeti got neutered and had a gastroplexy. Surgery went very well, however, between him being able to itch his incision, the incision becoming infected and him also having a reaction to the staples, the healing has been a long and grueling process. But Dr.Cicali and her staff have been along side us with an immense amount of care and support the whole way. Iv brought him in several times for checkups and it has yet to break the bank. Yeti use to be a drooling nervous wreck every visit (it was a pain getting his big butt on the big scary weight scale) but he is now relaxed and comfortable there after receiving all the love and attention. He even is a little more willing gets on the scale now ?.

Please enjoy a picture of Yeti in his Moomoo and socks (it’s to help prevent him scratching)

Definitely will continue coming here. Every person on the staff was kind and great to work with. No vet is “cheap” however I feel like for all the work we had done to our pup that it was very reasonably priced, I was surprised! Thank you guys.

I like everything there is about this lovely business and the lovely people that run it!! You can tell they all care soooo much about your pets and my puppy absolutely loves going to the vet(no matter what may happen there haha). Thankful to find a vet that knows their stuff and cares! Also we are always laughing every time we go in and keeping conversation is light and easy 🙂 also, here’s a picture of happy and healthy pup who loves his vet!

I had a great first experience with Borealis Veterinary Clinic. I had called every vet clinic close to Eagle River to bring my African Grey Parrot in for a beak trim, and they were the only clinic that were currently taking taking new patients. Their schedule was booked a few weeks out, but we were grateful to be seen. Their clinic wasn't too difficult to find, and everyone who was working was friendly and helpful. They took great care of my parrot, who had a severely overgrown break, taking quite a bit off but knowing when to stop when he seemed to have enough.

Was excellent with my 16 year old dog, she was very understanding of my wishes and respected them. She was so patient with him even when he wanted to talk the entire time. She gave me options with handling his health. This is my first dog I’ve ever had and I’ve noticed with other vets they always try to force me and almost make me believe that sedating my dog is the only option but with borealis they respected and understood that I didn’t want to do that and gave me other options. They were very reasonable with prices. And I could just tell my dog was so much more comfortable there. I will definitely be continuing to take all my animals here

I have heard really great things about this clinic/vet, however on two separate occasions (6+ months apart, my husband and I have wanted to schedule an appointment for our dog at this clinic and both times I’ve contacted them & left a single voicemail as requested per their voicemail & have never received a call back, which was very discouraging). In my opinion, even if you have excellent service it is very unprofessional to not return voicemails and/or messages via messenger (that was what they were using a while back). Both times it has resulted in us going to another vet clinic each time. I feel if you’re going to run a business, it’s just a courtesy to at least return voicemails - even if you’re not accepting new clients and/or very busy. Just poor communication from my experience.

I'd hoped to recieve pain relief for my kitty.None was offered. It was denied twice.I wanted the shots.
She died in agony. She didn't deserve such cruelty

Hands down the best Vet in the clinic. It's a personal and welcoming experience with the Best staff and Doctor.
Borealis is a small clinic with just a single doctor and she keeps the Best staff. All of my dogs (I have a lot) love them and they have become like family to us!
