The staff is amazing.

Let’s be honest—visiting the vet is never a cheap outing, but Brevard Aid to Animals is hands-down the most reliable and affordable option around. They provide excellent care without breaking the bank, and I always feel confident that my money is being spent on what truly matters.

Brought my cat here for removal of breast cancer tumor. She was fine when I dropped her off for the surgery. I go to pick her up & they proceed to tell me she's still not awake from the anesthesia. So they had me sitting there for a couple of hours to wait for her to wake up, well she never snapped out of it. I brought her to the Animal Emergency Vet to see why she was not coming out of the anesthesia. They kept her overnight to monitor her situation. Well, they called me about 10:00 the next morning to tell me she was not coming out of it and it was best for me to put her to sleep. I was devastated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Between the surgery of the removal of the tumor & than taking her to the Animal Emergency Hospital it cost me $2,700.00. The money is no factor but my beautiful baby is gone & I believe Brevard Said to Animals overdosed my cat on the anesthesia & that's why she never woke up!!!!!!!! Do not bring your animal there for any type of surgery! Spend a little bit more money & go to a good Vet. All this happened this past January & I'm still devastated over the loss of my beautiful cat. She was only 7 yrs old. ? ?

First off, don't forget to give your pets a heartworm preventative!

Brevard Aid's ENTIRE STAFF has done a wonderful job caring for my heartworm positive, surrendered dog, Libby Rose... The odds were against her as she has a congenital defect with her cleft lip & palate and she was never spayed at 2 1/2 years old-ugg! To ensure her little uterus wouldn't bust subsequent to this nerve-racking heartworm procedure, Dr. Burnett called us after a few days of contemplation and advised he was confident with spaying her first! : )

We're 8 days in since her final heartworm treatment and we are both extremely grateful to BATA for placing their gifted hands onto her broken down- precious little boxer body! Thank you all for your AID and compassion getting my "Sweet Lips" onto the Libby Road of a long, happy & healthy life. God bless you all!

This is the most horrible veterinarian experience in my life. The doctor mistook my dogs issues from one another. When I corrected him and explained which dog had which condition (my dogs are 8 years old and they have had over 5 vets in their life, they have been tested many times as I have spent hundreds of dollars on these dogs. I know my dogs well. I am also a Doctor of Chinese medicine and dogs aren't that different than humans). Because he couldn't admit he was wrong and make a mistake between which dog was which, and his ego overrode him looking silly in front of his assistant, he decided to double down on the misdiagnosis and insist my second dog had the condition my first dog had and got VERY haughty with me. It was at that point I got haughty back after he refused to let me talk and tell him about the dogs history and help him with his diagnosis. . I am very offended by a man who has to be right and doesn't care about the dog selling people things they don't need because he has to look right in front of an assitant. He then got offended at me nicely correcting him and refused to treat my dogs. I was very nice up to this point in time I assure you, my jaw dropped. He refused to listen to me explain the dog's history, and just cocked an attitude. He wasn't even in there for more than 2 minutes and didn't look at my dogs ear for more than 3 seconds. A dog that is 8 years old that I have took to over 5 or 6 vets in his life and has been thoroughly tested with real blood and ear tests dozens of times in his life.
What was worse I called the manager in I was admittedly very upset at this point in time, and she did nothing but back what the doctor said. I have years of ear infection tests with microbes showing up on them, and she said because the doctor said it was allergies it was allergies. It was unbelievable !!! Then she decided to accuse me of being rough with my dog (the dog who plays rough with all dogs his whole life ) because I flipped his ear over and showed her exactly what the doctor did and how he flipped his ear over. I showed her what his examination was, it was insane. The man is incompetent, he didn't test anything and he didn't want to hear about the dozens of tests of the doctors took before him that cost me hundreds of dollars, and he didn't look at anything. He rudely cut me off every time I tried to speech and just wanted to be in and out of the room in 2 minutes. I am a healthcare provider with 6 years of healthcare school under my belt, this is an unqualified vet who throws out diagnoses and gives out meds dogs don't need, never even looking at the dog nor inquiring about their history. I have fostered and rescued dogs for the last 30 years, I know dogs. In short.. he is BS the dog owner. Trust me I know a horrible vet when I see it . It was atrocious. I guarantee 80% of all his dog patients have allergies, because he doesn't care what he diagnosis them with and just throws anything out there. What was more atrocious was his arrogant behavior when I tried to explain the history and past ear wax tests. He needs his license taken away. DO NOT go to this vet. The manager I called needs fired. I will try to find who really runs this joint, then need to be alerted to what this guy is doing.
