I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews. I come here often because I have several animals and they’re usually decent about seeing them when needed. Outside of them trying to push many extra “options” and charges I had a very bad experience recently. They’re known to handle “exotic” animals so I brought my macaw to them. My bird needed to be seen due to him having a loss of appetite. When we arrived, they did the normal questioning. They decided that bloodwork would be the next necessary step. I handed my sweetboy off not realizing that was going to be my last time ever seeing him alive! 😭💔 As my husband and I were in the room waiting, all I heard was him cawing, cawing, cawing….then nothing. I assumed they were done trying/getting the blood sample they needed…….. but no……… The vet came in the room and I knew at that moment something wasn’t right! She said he was panicking and stressing SO MUCH she felt his heart racing and then just like that, his heart stopped 😭😭😭 I didn’t want to believe it and when I realized he wasn’t coming back, my heart shattered. i couldn’t contain my tears and started bawling. I didn’t get a proper goodbye. Matter of fact, I wasn’t expecting to leave with my sweetie in a BOX, unalive! When working with animals, it’s common sense to recognize stress and fast heartbeats. My fear is that she wasn’t the actual “exotic bird vet specialist” but took us in thinking she could handle him but in actuality, couldn’t. Just be cautious and do your due diligence when picking vets for your exotic animals. - A broken hearted owner of a beloved pet.

Recently brought one of our dogs in for a Dental Cleaning. The Vet team was very communicative, we had zero wait at drop off or pick up, and our dog was happy and healthy. We have been with Brook Falls for going on 9 years now and have been extremely happy with them for the duration. Highly recommend if you're in the area and need a vet team (We have two dogs and two turtles that see the Brook Falls vet team).

The appointment itself was quick and easy. And the vet we had I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but they were great! Took care in looking after my chinchilla while being examined. Also took into consideration of asking what we would like to do first before just doing it. Offered us options on how to help my chinchilla as best as possible.

I wasn't thrilled I waited 45mins past my appt time but the Vet made up for it. He was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Gave a clean bill of health to my turtle but I learned she was overweight! Made my day... who has ever heard of a fat turtle!!!

Brought my own pet ball python here with a cloacal prolapse, and they were able to do a surgery to save him! Super friendly staff loved my snake, and they even wrote a little summary of how the surgery was from my snake's point of view. They even made a hat for him out of those bandages that stick to themselves. Would highly recommend for snake or exotic animal owners!
Edit: almost forgot to mention, but in the recovery process they did several check up appointments before removing his stitches, and they even assured me that he's very healthy, which was very comforting as I'm a first time snake owner. Super empathetic staff.

Where do I even begin?
The staff at Brookfalls squeezed me in at the end of their workday to see my bunny Gloss when he was going through a major GI stasis and megacolon episode. His entire abdomen was inundated with a massive buildup of poop so large that he was swollen like a balloon.
I could pay for the visit with them, but an er would've cost too much and I'd have had to make the hard decision to euthanize my baby.

Had brookfalls not come through and accommodated my needs, my bunny wouldn't be here, in recovery and getting better.

Two months ago he got neutered there and I was fearing that, like a lot of bunnies, he wouldn't survive the anesthesia. They took every avenue to reassure me, and did the proper pre-op tests and imaging to make sure they did everything correctly. He made it through the surgery beautifully.

This is why I'm a client for life.
For an exotic vet, they are not only extremely affordable, but they are THOROUGH, and they are well-equipped. Their office is beautiful and clean, their staff is kind and compassionate, and their doctors listen and react to your needs.

What more can I say then kindness is what matters to the vets and staff at Brook-Falls. When our furry family member needs attention and medical care I truly trust the veterinarians here. They took wonderful care of my beautiful Maisie all the way to the end. I will always be grateful for the care you provided for her as well as for my current dogs, Yogi and Tessa. Brook Falls has been an amazing vet practice. We're relatively new clients and they've already seen us through a lot. The staff is very nice and very well informed. We had issues with a nail clipping where my dog was terrified. We were unable to do the trimming that day, but instead the vet tech took the time to talk with me about how we can deal with the issues, we agreed to some medications, and I left with a handful of information detailing what we had discussed. (We were able to get her nails trimmed later that week!)
