My dogs love coming to Canal Veterinary! I find the prices to be reasonable/affordable and appointments are easy to make. Started coming to them when we moved out here about 3 years ago and I prefer Canal and their staff over my old vets in the bay area that I was with for 20 years. I'm also grateful they made time for a last minute euthanasia of my bunny when she took a turn for the worse and were very compassionate.

Bandit absolutely loved her first visit to Canal Veterinary Hospital. Everyone was so nice and very friendly. It was great to watch the staff interact with Bandit. They got down on the floor and played with her which we thought was AWESOME. This is our new Vet for all our dogs and cats.

The staff was all very friendly. I got to meet Dr. Heather De Leon for the first time. She was very thorough and full of knowledge. I appreciated how she gave me a print out of all the things she recommended for my dog, Luna. I also appreciated the amount of time she spent examining my dog and answering all of my questions. I’m so glad I made the switch to a new veterinarian for my pets!

A couple months ago I tried to take my cat mozzarella to get fixed and had a confirmed appointment for weeks and when I got there I wasnt even told they had some random staff meeting. They called me HOURS after dropping her off (and mind you I can hear my cat crying in the back) saying they were still waiting for the vet and yada yada some stuff they definitely should’ve figured out before Then the receptionist proceeds to say “her meows are so cute” she’s literally in distress and that’s funny I never went through with the appointment because one they’re neglecting my cat after waiting how many hours for them to yap I also don’t trust neglectful vets so I’m definitely not putting the life of my pet through neglectful and unorganized hands! I discourage all my friends who ask me about this location. On top of all that I had left numerous voicemails and voicing for help because a vet decided to wrap her paw too tight and I ended up having to take her to Taylor road be over then wrapping her too tight after a vaccine and her paw was so swollen! By far this is the hardest and nastiest review I’ve ever left somewhere but they’re the meow mix of vets. Save your money and time and get the correct help and go somewhere else. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing

The vet did a thorough exam and answered all my questions. I didn't feel like she was rushing through the exam like another nearby vet does. She iffered additional information for me to look out for. The vet tech was AWESOME! My dog was very nervous and she remained calm and made her feel more comfortable.

I love everything about this vet clinic. Dr.Larson and all the staff are very kind and considerate. It is obvious they love their patients.and what they do. The girls at the front go out of their way to accommodate the best they can. Julie has been there for a while and goes above and beyond to handle my sometimes “spur of the moment” requests. Sometimes services can be a little on the pricey side depending on what your furry friend is being seen for. However, considering most of us see our pets as “part of the family” or “our children” I feel the prices are pretty reasonable and below other clinics. I also believe that if there was a real issue or emergency with your loved one and you were having a hard time making ends meet , they would go out of their way to work something out. The technicians are super friendly and one young man (I am not sure of his name or else I would mention it) is so good with my dog Bo he seems to actually smile as he soaks up the friendly scratches while being attended to. I would give this place five stars but hey “nobody can be perfect” all the time. Thank you for the great customer service! We appreciate you.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. Dr. Larson explained everything that was going on with my little girl ❤️ he helped me to understand and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions! I definitely would refer everyone to this office for their fur babies!
