My husband’s physician ordered an MRI. One week later we still had not heard anything. When we called our physician’s office didn’t pick up so we were routed to Champaign IL. That person said we had to obtain the pre certification. That requires ICD-10 and CPT codes plus Phyician Clinicals. Something NO patient would have. They insisted after Lawrence Co Memorial called them, he was having test done there, that he still had to precertify the MRI. The back of his insurance card says, For maternity in the first trimester check you benefit. (Patient responsibility) or to avoid reduction in benefits for Hospitalization call this number (Patient’s responsibility) NEITHER were the case. If my husband is pregnant I’m retiring! CARLE didn’t even call and speak with my husband!! You dropped the ball! Good thing I work in a hospital and knew better! You do NOT try to help your patients I guess if the service isn’t done at your facility. We only come for Dr Waller she is amazing!

I was here a few weeks back and got great care. Felt alot better when I left.
I'm back for a similar problem and they don't seem to be alarmed at the rate of infection I'm having. They gave me antibiotic and sent me away while still in severe pain. Save yourself the pain and suffering and find a different hospital.

Save your money and use another convenient care or wait to go to your primary or telemedicine. Carle convenient care may listen to your issue but will not doctor you instead they will tell you to go to ER. If it was an emergency then we would have went straight to the ER. What else is a convenient care for? This has happened 3 times with their suggestion being to go to the ER. Seems that the convenient care is a way to double bill without providing a service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I fractured my kneecap, and this was the closest hospital. I should have taken the hour-long ride to Sarah Bush Lincoln and suffered through the ride. The doctor at the hospital relocated my dislocated and fractured kneecap back into place. However, the doctor told me that he was going to take another look at the damaged cartilage shown on the CT scan. The doctor never came back... Most of the doctors at Carle are the ones who failed their licensing examination multiple times. These doctors couldn't find a broken bone even if it was sticking out of the skin.

This is a band-aid hospital don’t let them know you smoke bc they’ll stop and blame everything on it if you actually need a (Good Hospital) I’d goto any other one except Olney’s they really are a joke

Took my 4 month old son in for care because he has RSV. They took amazing care of him and he’s now sleeping more than an hour for the first time in 5 days. Other doctors didn’t do anything for us anywhere else but this hospital gave him the meds he needed and now he’s so much better. Can’t say thank you enough. Thank you for taking the misery away from my sweet baby. You guys are absolutely amazing ❤️

I almost died because these clowns couldn't be bothered to test me for meningitis,said it was a head ache. Surprise it was lymes disease and i couldn't even diagnosed. They treated my like I was drug seeking and brushed me off. Dr. Clayton was the only one who could figure it out and the only reason I can warn others to steer clear of this place. If you need anything more advanced than stitches, save yourself a few thousand dollars and drive 30 minutes somewhere else
