Best place ever Dr.Donahue is the best she saved my dogs life was very nice understanding and patient. I am 20 years old and own a cane corso female she had an infection in her uterus and was not gonna live another day and Dr. Donahue was patient while we figured out the money situation and got all the money to afford her surgery that day and spoke to us on how everything would go this place is amazing the icu drs for night shift as well are very amazing and even tho this was Chicas first time away from home and not at home with us for the night due to her having to stay there after surgery they did not get annoyed with me calling every little bit answered every time and answered every question I had and took great care of Chica and because of them all our baby Chica is still alive doing better and with us thank you all so much

We had an emergency with our pup last week. Our call was answered immediately, the receptionist got my information and guided me to their offices in Rock Hill clearly even though my mind was racing during the call. Once at the offices we were seen quickly, they have the most competent nurses I have ever seen. She did a wonderful job not exciting my pup so they could care for him. He was taken back and looked over quickly. I was very happy with the level of care, and compassion showed to us.

Carolina Veterinary Specialists saved my dogs life! I am so thankful for the care that my dog received during an emergency situation. They were thoughtful and kind to both of us throughout the event and provided timely updates and treatment. I hope to not have any pet emergencies in the near future but am so thankful that they are there 24/7 to provide these services! Thank you!!

Don’t take your pets here because they apparently wont FOLLOW THROUGH with their care. My mother took her dog in for seizures. The rent-a-vet they had working sent an Rx for a medication dosage that can’t be filled anywhere in that dosage including any compounding pharmacy they’ve called. Upon calling them back they were informed that since the other vet wrote the Rx it could not be changed. What a joke. Maybe your office should call him and have him change it? Maybe do your jobs. Seems to me they’re trying to get them to bring him back to extract more money. And during the visit it appeared to my mother the doctor was just trying to run the bill up. Said they wouldn’t give him the medication and charged them $400. FOR WHAT?!

So if anything happens to the dog, I will be contacting my lawyer and this office WILL be held liable for neglect. What a joke. It appears they don’t care about your loved one’s needs enough to do anything about it. They weren’t transparent about pricing at all. When during their previous visit they were very clear about costs. They are on a fixed income and it is difficult to extend outside of that, so the lack of transparency is a huge issue.

I had found a dumped dog today. The dog had an eye injury and I called to see if they had an open appointment today (Black Friday). I was told since it’s a holiday it’s a $190.00 just to be seen. I am from out of state (NY) and have never heard of this being charged even near major metropolitan areas. When I asked how much eye drops would be they listed off 3 things they’d have to do in order to see if the dog needed drops (she did). That fee didn’t include the work up. I even told them it’s for a dumped senior dog and they could give a crap less. After reading some of the other reviews I’d avoid this and see if you can find a more affordable and compassionate vet since they manage to exist in NY state.

We had an emergency, and our dog needed some stiches. CVS was the place to go when we help in a pinch. Their staff was very friendly, the doctor did a great job was very caring and their facility was top of the line. I highly recommend Carolina Vet Specialist for their expedient service and superior care.

I went for an emergency visit with a tiny stray kitten. I was worried sick. To my astonishment, the doctor explained that it wasn't an emergency. You see, my friends of the strays, young animals have GREAT immune systems. They haven't been poisoned by big pharma yet. God bless America. Kitty lost its rear leg but is doing great in a home. Shop around! You can get more affordable care elsewhere.

A month ago, my dog was taken here due to him having trouble breathing. He was kept there over night and they ran multiple tests, x-rays, etc. After 18 hours of him being in their care, they released him saying that he had a heat stroke and he was completely healthy. I trusted them and let my guard down. Not even 2 days later, he started having the same symptoms. We decided to take him to a different animal hospital to get a second opinion and they told me that it in fact was NOT heat stroke. The other animal hospital called them multiple times trying to get the results from the tests that they “ran” on him and to get the x-rays that they “took” of him. Long story short, they never sent them the results. We ended up having to make the difficult decision to put our sweet boy down that day. The false hope they gave me cost thousands of dollars. Do not take your pet here.
